Drake has been trending on top of the headlines after he gave a speech at a party on October 5, 2024. The party was held in Toronto and the speech was believed to be a part of his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar. Notably, both the rappers released multiple diss tracks targeted at each other earlier this year.

Drake, also known as Drizzy, was heard talking about fake friends at the party, seemingly hinting towards all those supporting Lamar. While the speech led to a lineup of reactions on different platforms, Charlamagne Tha God has now responded to the same as he appeared on The Breakfast Club on October 7, 2024.

A video of Drizzy's speech is gaining a lot of attention everywhere and Charlamagne described the same as "one of the top three most beige moments in light-skin history." The radio host also praised Lamar for the way he handled the battle and referred to its impact on Drizzy:

"Drake is hurting! Oh my God! He is hurt! You can't go on an unfollow spree then go on stage and cry about not having no real friends or whatever that was about and go into Beyonce's 'Me, Myself & I.' When I tell you Kendrick Lamar put his foot all the way up Drake's a*s…" he said.

Meanwhile, during the speech at his party in Toronto, called Nostalgia, Drizzy said that it was attended by his "real friends." He even had a message for everyone, saying that they might have to be alone sometimes.

"But I'm gonna tell you, you're gonna come to a point in life where people you thought were friends, or people you thought were close to you, they might switch up, they might try fighting with you, they might stab you in the back, they might do a lot of things to you," he added.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar's feud to be featured in an upcoming documentary

As mentioned, Drake was involved in a dispute with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. The problems emerged after the former released a collaborative single with J. Cole, titled First Person Shooter, in October last year. Lamar then targeted the duo in Metro Boomin's song Like That.

Back in April this year, Drizzy released two diss tracks: Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle, aimed at Lamar. Kendrick also replied with a single titled Euphoria, and the duo continued releasing diss tracks such as 6:16 in LA, Family Matters, Meet the Grahams, and Not Like Us.

Meanwhile, Channel 4 announced a documentary titled Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake on October 8, 2024, which will address the duo's beef. The news was confirmed by Deadline earlier this month, stating that the documentary would feature conversations with personalities who have been close to the rappers over the years.

The upcoming documentary would also speak on the successful careers of Lamar and Drizzy, addressing how they became a part of the music industry. The release date of the documentary has not been confirmed until now.

Acme Films and GroupM Motion Entertainment would serve as the documentary's producers. On the other hand, Channel 4's Head of Specialist Factual Shaminder Nahal said that the documentary would explore "two of the most influential voices in modern music." Nahal further stated:

"This documentary will delve into the unique journeys of Kendrick and Drake, examining how their backgrounds, talents, and visions have made them global icons."

The news of the latest documentary comes around seven years after Channel 4 addressed the feud between Drizzy and Jay-Z in another project, Public Enemies: Jay-Z v Kanye.
