While the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is seemingly over, fans don't seem to have moved on from it and have picked sides in this one as well. Recently, fans expressed their opinions on a social media platform, after Drizzy reportedly copied what Lamar wore for Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers cover while attending Adonis' soccer game.
The famous cover image had Lamar seemingly wearing a crown of thorns, donning a white t-shirt and loose-fitted beige pants. Drake can be seen wearing a somewhat similar outfit along with a white scarf around his neck.
A Kendrick Lamar fan page shared a post on X, which had a caption that read,
"DRAKE out here stealing Kendrick Lamar’s outfit bar for bar."
One user took to X and wrote,
"It was a terrible outfit by Kendrick, Drake’s just trolling."
"It’s called trolling… y’all takin this whole thing too serious and the man is just having fun," added another one.
"He tried to copy Kendrick by being an active dad in the same fit but he forgot to hold his kid because he was too busy admiring himself and how similar he looked to his idol Kendrick in that fit." wrote one user.
"If you can't beat em, join em," said another netizen on X.
A tweet read,
"Kdot fit come with a burner."
"It’s called psychological warfare", read another tweet.
One user wrote,
"Shoulda went to zara like bro, the cuffs."
Drake has allegedly dressed up the same way Kendrick Lamar dressed up for Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers
While the infamous rap beef ended, the fans and fan pages are often seen to pick sides of their favorite artists. After a K.Dot fan page posted a tweet claiming that the Canadian artist had allegedly copied Lamar's style, it received a lot of responses from people with different opinions.
The fans supporting either Drizzy or Lamar are waiting to get back at each other whenever a chance is there. While Drizzy's fans are still trying to prove that he possibly won the beef, Lamar's fans are undermining the Canadian rapper.
Amid all the chaos, Drake's outfit to Adonis' soccer game, gave rise to a new set of assumptions and conclusions.
Fans reacted even more since the Canadian rapper had posted his own picture in the outfit, on Instagram, which he captioned as:
"Goats don’t worry about one trick ponies."
Despite so many speculations, no official confirmation has been made by Drake as to whether the post and the caption were a dig at Kendrick Lamar or not. Fans, however, still believe that it was aimed at the Canadian rapper.
Kendrick Lamar released his fifth studio album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in May 2022. The album consisted of guest appearances from several artists including Sampha, Ghostface Killah, Amanda Reifer, and Taylor Paige, to name a few.
