Rapper Quando Rondo sat for an interview with DJ Akademiks on November 12. In a one-hour discussion, titled Quando Rondo Reveals All. Reacts to Lil Durk Getting Arrested for Trying to Line Him + Did he Forgive, the duo conversed about various topics, with the singer misinterpreting a popular phrase at one point, subsequently leading to him getting trolled online relentlessly.
In a clip that has gone viral across social networking sites, DJ Akademiks can be seen telling Quando Rondo that he is simply playing “devil’s advocate.” It appears as if the latter assumed that the steamer was referring to Satan, leading to him almost walking out of the interview. Rondo also said:
“Bro, I ain’t gonna lie, I promise you. You even just saying that devil’s name, I want to take these microphones off and walk out that door. I can’t let ya slide with that. This some devilish sh*t? Why’d you put the devil name in it, buddy? Boy I’m serious. You gotta take that back. Don’t lose the devils boy.”
For those uninitiated, “devil’s advocate” is a commonly used idiom that suggests a contending opinion being brought up to provoke debate.

Lil Durk and five OTF affiliates get arrested on murder for hire charges in relation to Quando Rondo
On October 24, Lil Durk and five others were taken into custody on charges including conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, committing murder-for-hire involving a death, and use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death.
As per an 18-page indictment filed in the United States Court for the Central District of California, several OTF affiliates conspired to murder Quando in retribution for the 2020 killing of King Von.
An affiliate of Rondo was arrested for the 2020 death of King Von, however, Rondo faced no charges for the same.
The indictment revealed that an unnamed co-conspirator offered “money and lucrative music opportunities with OTF,” to anyone who took part in the killing of Rondo. This led to a group of individuals allegedly shooting at a vehicle, which Rondo, his sister and his cousin Saviay’a Robinson traveled in back in 2022, subsequently leading to Robinson passing away.
The five men who faced charges alongside Durk included Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston.
