"Ego too big for someone that got shot 7 times": Internet reacts as Lil Tjay reveals he didn't like the way he was told to stop smoking on stream

Recently, rapper Lil Tjay revealed that he didn't like the way he was told to stop smoking on Plaqueboymax’s stream. In a video uploaded on Instagram on January 9 by The Shade Room, he said that he joined the stream only because Fivio Foreign did, and he didn’t like the way Plaqueboymax behaved with him.

As per the Instagram video, during the stream, the rapper said:

“No disrespect… I didn't know you. I never heard of you… Everywhere I go, I be smoking. I pay the fine. How much? Yeah, how much it was, bro?”

This incident happened when Plaqueboymax hosted a broadcast at an Airbnb on January 7 and two rappers appeared on it. In a clip from the stream, Fivio and Tjay could be seen trying to smoke weed inside, while Plaqueboy kept reminding them that they were not permitted to do so because of the rental's rules. Stating the same, he said:

“Yo, stop smoking. Thank you.. This a Bnb, you can’t smoke in here. This sh*t [fire alarm] gonna go off. I appreciate you, though.”

This remark allegedly offended Tjay. Since Tjay's video complaining about the no-smoking request went viral, people took to the comment section to react to the same. One even claimed that the rapper's attitude was "too big for someone that got shot 7 times.”

The person here referred to the fact that the rapper was shot seven times on June 22, 2022, during an attempted robbery in Edgewater, New Jersey. Lil Tjay had emergency surgery after being transported by air to Hackensack University Medical Center.

Meanwhile, one Instagram user wrote that he was being disrespectful, while another one sarcastically said that this is probably why the rapper got shot so many times.

However, on the other hand, some people tried to justify his actions by saying that he is too young to understand his mistake.

The rappers later departed the Airbnb when Plaqueboymax expressed his disapproval of Lil Tjay's smoking and asked them to stop so the fire alarm wouldn't go off. Tjay was especially angry with Plaqueboymax for the request.

During the Instagram stream, Tjay said:

“I never been somewhere. No smoking. We'll go fit the House sensitive.. He worry about me smoking in the house.”

Then apologizing to Plaqueboymax, seemingly sarcastically, he said:

“And my fault, I came through, get creative. It ain't the end of the world. I know, sorry… There's what it is, but I told you before you be right, bro. I pay for that. Maybe one day we'll make up another day…”

Later, while talking about the same, Lil Tjay ended up threatening the rapper, during a conversation with YouTuber DDG on January 9. In the video uploaded on X, Lil Tjay said:

"I've been to jail, bro. I was a felon at 13. I don't know who these ni*gas think Tjay is. 'Excuse me, appreciated.' What type of reaction do you think you gonna get from now, gang? You think you're my mother, bro? For real, ni*gas slap the sh*t out of you."

Meanwhile, this incident divided the rapper community. Following the incident, rapper @FearedBuck tweeted that Plaqueboymax constantly urged Lil Tjay & Fivio Foreign to quit smoking in his Airbnb, which is why they simply left after the confrontation. However, he didn't take any side.

On the other hand, rapper and X user Asian Doll also commented on the matter, accusing Plaqueboymax of being at fault. She stated in a tweet that he shouldn't invite the rappers if they are not allowed to smoke. She went on to say that most rappers wouldn't have come if they had been aware of the smoking ban beforehand.
