Multiple celebrities, including Idris Elba, Tree Paine, Ambika Mod, and Amelia Dimoldenberg, were spotted at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on August 15.

Swift returned to London to conduct five shows this week, scheduled between August 15 to August 20, all at Wembley. Various celebrities have been regular at these shows, with fans spotting some big names during the August 15th show.

Swifties took to X to share their excitement about spotting Elba and the others during Taylor Swift's show, with many hoping some of them would become a part of the performance. Some fans were particularly excited to see One Day star Ambika Mod in attendance. Here are some reactions:

"I love to see it! Also, I'm a massive fan of Ambika Mod!!!! I’m still processing the ending of One Day" a fan said.
"Ambika Mod is there and I can't keep calm... I love her😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️" another fan exclaimed.
"We need a Taylor chicken shop date with Amelia!" a user added.

Swifties also expected Taylor Swift to bring Idris Elba on stage to sing London Boy as one of her surprise songs, especially since Elba's voice features at the beginning of the popular track.

"Idris being the og london boy" a user quipped.
"Oh, she’s definitely singing London Boy" a netizen commented.
"I NEED IDRIS onstage live with London Boy!" an individual added.
"what if she sings london boy and brings him on stage to do the intro 😂" a fan wondered.
"IF IDRIS DOESNT INTRODUCE LONDON BOY AS A SURPRISE SONG WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING HERE" an X user continued.

Swift eventually did not perform London Boy as expected by her fans, although Ed Sheeran joined her on stage to perform three of her tracks in collaboration with him: Everything Has Changed from Red, End Game from Reputation, and Thinking Out Loud.

Apart from Idris Elba and Ambika Mod, the Chicken Shop date host Amelia Dimoldenberg and actress Jameela Jamil were also present at Taylor Swift's concert.

Ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows at Wembley Stadium in London, there were discussions of the shows being canceled after a terrorist attack scare for her scheduled shows in Vienna.

The singer was to perform at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria on August 8, 9, and 10. However, all three of the shows were canceled after the police arrested two suspects who were allegedly planning to launch a terrorist attack during the performances.

After the cancellation of Vienna's shows, Scotland Yard took time to evaluate whether it was safe for her Wembley shows to continue as scheduled. However, they were eventually not canceled. Metropolitan Police said in their statement that they would do their best to ensure maximum security. They noted,

"London plays hosts to a significant number of very high profile events each year with millions of visitors having a safe and enjoyable experience. The Met works closely with venue security teams and other partners to ensure there are appropriate security and policing plans in place."

However, the police confirmed that the incidents in Vienna will not affect Taylor Swift's London performances. They continued,

"There is nothing to indicate that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on upcoming events here in London."

As per The Mirror, Taylor Swift was upset about canceling her shows but did not want to risk the safety of her fans. An insider spoke to the publication about the singer's feelings about the cancellation of her shows and said,

"Taylor has been devastated by this. She is devastated for the fans who have been waiting for years to see her. But the thought of what could have happened if the concerts had been targeted by a terror attack is horrifying, and she would never risk the safety of her fans."

The insider also said that the incident that took place during Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester in 2017 is still on everyone's minds. Taylor would reportedly not want to risk something so dangerous for her shows. However, the singer has told her team that she would like to return to perform in Vienna as soon as possible in the future.

On August 15, Taylor Swift returned to perform at Wembley in London after running three sold-out shows at the UK capital in June. The singer will take a brief break from the tour after her five shows in London and resume her tour in Toronto, Canada, in November 2024.
