On January 3, 2024, three unreleased Drake track snippets went viral, sparking excitement for his upcoming collaboration album with PartyNextDoor.

Each snippet lasts around 10 seconds, with one featuring PartyNextDoor's voice and the others appearing to be solo tracks by Drake. These snippets are the first new music from Drake since his public feud with Kendrick Lamar in March-May 2024.

In one of his tracks, Drizzy seemingly referred to the rap battle as the lyrics said:

"“F*ck a rap beef I’m tryna get the party lit/ Looked on like a villain to him/ Dirk's boy taught me Marv is ruined/ What's his favorite song/ He would drill it to her/ Thousand ni**as rapping murder sh*t/ And like ten ni**as that'll really do it/ Savage you don't--"

In another one of his snippets, the Toronto-based rapper seems to be rapping over a mid-tempo trap instrumental. It appears to have been addressed to a woman. The other snippet appears to be from his upcoming collaboration album with PartyNextDoor and features classic R&B-style music.

Drake is yet to share details about the release dates of his new music. His collaboration with PND is expected to drop soon while the rapper is also allegedly working on his next solo venture. It is unclear whether the aforementioned solo snippets are from his solo venture or his album with PND.

On December 26, 2024, Drake featured in a live stream with YouTuber Adin Ross and conducted a Christmas giveaway. During the stream, Drizzy briefly discussed his upcoming collaboration with PartyNextDoor.

The rapper said he is extremely proud of the work he and PND have done. He added that the album will be the "best that both of them has to offer" and that it was "pretty much done."

Drizzy first announced his collaboration with PND back in August 2024, mentioning that it would be dropping when the weather was "a little chilly." He seemingly hinted at a winter release.

In November 2024, PartyNextDoor, who was the first artist to sign with Drake's OVO record label in 2013, also shared an update about the album. At that time, the rapper was in the European leg of his Sorry I’m Outside Tour. He said that the "album is getting finished" after his "one more show" on the tour.

In the same month, Drake claimed that the upcoming album sounded "incredible" during an appearance on QxC's live stream. With the snippets dropping, it appears to be a matter of time before the OVO artists drop their collaboration.

"Me and Party's album is 75 percent done shout out to PX cooking right now. Album sounds incredible...This album is good; it's the sound that people know and love us for," he said.

Drizzy's second snippet featuring PartyNextDoor featured a classic R&B style composition. The lyrics said:

"Getting old her pressure's getting heavy/ The rock up on your finger girl it scares me/ Never thought I'd see the day you cried/ Till you cried in my arms that night."

Finally, Drizzy's remaining solo snippet appeared to be a romantic composition. Here's the lyrics:

"Scammers and them drugs with a flex on the budget/ I trick trick on you like I'm Detroit Thuggy/ Put y'all in jail 'cause I miss and I love ya/I wanna see my bae."

Drizzy's last album, For All The Dogs, was released in 2023. His collaboration album with PND was reportedly set to drop in November 2024. However, it was allegedly delayed due to Kendrick Lamar dropping his latest album GNX on November 22, 2024.

YouTuber Poetik Flakko claimed the same during one of his streams held after Drizzy's live stream with Adin Ross. During the stream, Ross indicated that the album was delayed despite being scheduled to release in November 2024.

"Adin Ross accidentally revealed something that we all already knew. Is that Drake was actually supposed to drop that Party album, not three weeks ago, but four weeks ago. Well, today is the 27, so, what week was four weeks ago? It was the week of the 22nd of November. Well, what dropped that week," Flakko said.

It remains to be seen when Drake finally drops his next album in collaboration with PND. Following the snippets going viral online, the expectation and anticipation are high among fans.
