The rumors of Jennifer Lopez fleeing from the US after being threatened by Diddy started when the hip-hop mogul was arrested back in September 2024.

In the wake of these rumors, many videos capturing the singer-actress leaving the country in haste have surfaced online, suggesting that JLo was escaping due to the threats from her ex-boyfriend.

However, in the absence of any substantial evidence to corroborate the claims, it is noted that none of these rumors are true.

According to Snopes, the false rumors stemmed from YouTube channels such as Celeb Lounge, Pop Cult, and Just In, which posted videos with captions claiming Lopez escaped after threats from Diddy.

On November 6, one such video, uploaded by DownTown, claimed that Jennifer Lopez "left the country, slipping away quietly with very little information about her destination."

However, the actress had flown to London to attend the screening of her upcoming movie, Unstoppable, where she was captured on the red carpet on November 5. Three days later, JLo returned to the States, where she was present at the LA premiere of Wicked.

Elsewhere, the DownTown video also brought up an alleged FBI report claiming the actress's life to be in danger, adding:

"New evidence has emerged that has caught the FBI's attention, leading them to investigate any potential danger posed to Jennifer Lopez... While the specifics of this investigation remain classified, it's clear that whatever Diddy's threats might be, they're serious enough for federal authorities to get involved."

However, no evidence of the existence of the federal document has been provided in any of these videos. Despite any hard proof, the video has received over 28,900 views. Jennifer Lopez and Diddy dated in the late 90s, between 1991 and 2001.

JLo revealed the reason behind her breakup with Diddy in 2003

While JLo and Diddy parted ways in 2001, the singer-actress spoke candidly about it two years later, in the July issue of VIBE magazine. Jennifer Lopez told the magazine she was "totally crying, crazy, going nuts" in her relationship with Puff, which took her "whole life in a tailspin." The I'm Into You singer further added:

"It was the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful... I never caught him but I just knew. He’d say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night."

JLo also revealed that she and Diddy split up so often that the rapper didn't believe when she left him for good.

In 2002, Jennifer Lopez met Ben Affleck on the sets of Gigli, and they were engaged by the end of the year. However, the couple broke things off two years later and remained friends for more than a decade before their rekindling relationship in 2021.

Affleck and JLo married in July 2022, living happily for two years before they filed for divorce in August 2024.

A former Playboy model allegedly claimed that JLO's video was played at one of Diddy's freak-off parties

The DownTown video opened with a claim made by a former Playboy model, which was also reported by TMZ on November 1. As per TMZ, Rachel Kennedy allegedly told them that she had met Diddy with her friends at a topless club in Japan in 2000, with the rapper inviting them to his suite later on.

As they went to his suite, a JLo video was playing on a loop on the TV. Diddy also appeared to be talking to the actress over the phone. Kennedy also reportedly claimed that one of his friends went to the bathroom with the Bad Boy Records owner, where she performed a "consensual oral s**" for 20 minutes.

Kennedy has appeared on Daily Mail's The Trial of Diddy podcast in the past. The podcast has over 30 million downloads on Apple Music.

Diddy, who is currently held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, applied for a third bail request earlier this week, with the first two requests having been denied in court. The trial of the s**ual abuse and racketeering cases filed against him will begin next year in May.
