Geezer Butler revealed Ozzy Osbourne wants to do another tour

The bassist of the band Black Sabbath revealed in a conversation with BraveWords that Osbourne had been texting him about doing a tour. The topic came up when the interviewer asked him if the band members needed a sort of closure. Butler replied,

"Ozzy has been texting me about doing one final show with Bill, and that's it. But it's just not going to happen. But I always said that the original Black Sabbath would never get back together."

74-year-old Butler revealed that while he would love it if it happened, such an event is quite unlikely given several factors, including the health conditions of all the members. He additionally stated,

"I'd love it to happen, even if it was one final song with the original four of us, with Bill on the drums. Even if it's just one song."

Butler further spoke about the band's return to Birmingham and said it meant only a few shows, not an entire tour. Just a month ago, Osbourne revealed he was up for playing a last show with Bill Ward.

During a conversation with SiriusXM on May 2024, Geezer revealed that he and Osbourne had agreed to do a final show for all the fans. He said that while most of the members wanted it, there was no confirmation from anybody's end.

"I'm definitely up for it, to finish the whole thing off. Me and Ozzy have agreed, but I'm not sure about anybody else."

Fans are now eagerly waiting to see if they will experience one last show from the band together.

This wasn't the first time such a hoax appeared regarding Ozzy. In December 2023, the musician addressed a similar situation on an episode of The Osbournes Podcast. He confirmed even back then that it was a hoax.
