Tupac Shakur murder suspect Keefe D blamed processed jail food for the alleged return of his cancer. He added during the murder trial that the difficult conditions in prison are making the situation worse. The allegations were made by Keefe when he made his court appearance on Tuesday, June 25, where he tried to get out of prison on bond with the assistance of Wack 100.

While Keefe and Wack arranged for $750,000 to get out, the judge denied it after getting suspicious about the source of the money. During the hearing, Keefe D said:

"I got cancer. I been in jail eating processed food. I had colon cancer… they serve all this processed food, they don’t serve no fruit, it’s terrible. Fake potatoes, fake milk. Fake everything. It ain’t good for an ex-cancer patient. I got it again."

Keefe D has again expressed criticism of his prison diet during his Tuesday hearing

Keefe D claimed that poor jail food was the reason for his cancer coming back when he appeared in court on Tuesday for the Tupac Shakur murder trial. He further said in his argument:

"They took me to the hospital on May 5. He came into my cell and said, 'Hurry up and get dressed, you need emergency surgery.' They referred me to my cancer doctor so I went and seen him on May 8 and he said, 'I'll get you to do a colonoscopy in a week, CT scan in two weeks, CT scan in three weeks.'"

He added:

"They haven’t came here to do nothing. I’m in a life situation and I will do anything to save my life."

This is not the first time that Keefe D and his team have blamed prison food and medical care for his reportedly deteriorating health. In a motion for bail filed last year, as reported by HipHopDX, the legal team of Keefe claimed that he wasn't getting his oncologist visits as per requirements.

It was further mentioned that in the middle of this, his heart health also worsened, and he had to take medicines to keep it under check. According to the motion, the accused had to take medication since he was not able to maintain good health due to the dire prison conditions.

Coming back to the current bond hearing, the judge denied it after suspecting that the money was possibly raised in exchange for an interview with Keefe D, as reported by HipHopDX.
