Amid the massive LA wildfires, several celebrities lost their homes, and one of them was 36-year-old singer Jhene Aiko. Aiko shared images of her burning home on social media on Thursday, January 9, 2025. In a post, Aiko wrote:
"Me and my children's home is gone, burned to the ground with all of our things inside. Lord have mercy. Thankful, we still have each other. Starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy."
On January 12, she shared a story where she uploaded a photo of her burning house. Jhene Aiko wrote that a neighbor sent her the picture while they were out of town.

"The fact some of you think I have Paris Hilton money is wild. I don't got it like that, but I do have a big, loving family that is worth more than anything."

While Jhene Aiko's posts about her damaged house got special attention on social media, many celebrities are experiencing the same crisis caused by the horrific LA wildfires. According to a Buzzfeed report, Actor Milo Ventimiglia and his wife witnessed their house getting on fire through security cameras.
Whiplash actor Miles Teller also revealed that his house was damaged in these massive fires that began earlier this year. His wife, Keleigh Sperry, took to Instagram and shared a post with a photo of their house during evacuation. Keleigh wrote:
"To everyone reaching out I can't thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I'll never forget them..."
Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, also shared her experience on social media. On January 9, she shared a clip of the view outside her Malibu bungalow and revealed that it was damaged in the fires. Tina continued thanking the firefighters and responders for working hard to try and restrain the spreading fires.
According to BBC, on Sunday, it was confirmed by the LA County medical examiner that the death toll has reached 24. The authorities further stated that at least 16 were missing.
