"French could tell you more about Diddy than Fonzworth Bentley"- Choke No Joke claims French Montana is Diddy's assistant

Choke No Joke addressed French Montana’s speculated association with Diddy in an interview with Comedy Hype posted on October 26 on YouTube. The host meant to address the rumors surrounding Combs and his former assistant Fonzworth Bentley being in an alleged romantic relationship.

Fonzworth Bentley, whose real name is Derek Watkins, worked as Combs’ personal assistant in the 2000s and was often photographed carrying an umbrella for the rapper. Towards the end of the decade, he sought out his own career.

As allegations against Combs began surfacing in November 2023 after Cassie’s lawsuit, many have wondered about Fonzworth and the nature of his relationship with the rapper.

Comedy Hype host asked Choke No Joke about his thoughts on Bentley’s silence since Combs' recent arrest over s*x trafficking charges. They reasoned no other assistant of Combs apart from Fonzworth Bentley was seen next to the mogul for a longer period. However, Choke No Joke did not agree to the statement, rather he claimed:

"If you [are] looking for somebody to be on Diddy side for an extensive amount of years there’s no, after Fonzworth Bentley, there’s French Montana."

He implied that even though French Montana might not be known to the world as Combs' assistant, he had allegedly been by his side longer than Bentley.

"Him and French on LA, him and French on the yachts…he just don’t carry the n***a umbrella, and he raps."

Choke No Joke further claimed:

"French could tell you more about Diddy than Fonzworth Bentley. If y’all worried about Fonzworth Bentley, y’all should be talking about French."

He said everyone should rather be talking about French Montana than wondering about Bentley as the latter had not been around Combs "in 10-20 years". The Comedy Hyper host agreed and said at one point, Diddy and Montana were reposting and sharing each other's pictures on Instagram, which made it seem they shared a close bond.

Commenting on Fonzworth Bentley's public appearance, Choke No Joke said at one point during the conversation:

"I think people look at his flamboyant style…his metros*xual style, his fashion, and they look at him and because what man is carrying another man’s umbrella, right? It look gay."

However, Choke No Joke added if anybody had been around Bentley, they would know that he carries himself like a man and that the TV personality is the last person in the industry that comes to his mind concerning Diddy.

Choke No Joke's claim comes a month after French Montana and Diddy's resurfaced video

Shortly after Combs' arrest on September 16, an old video went viral online capturing a shirtless French Montana sitting at a dining table while Diddy, in a white robe, sang him "Happy Birthday".

Some netizens wondered about the relationship between the two, given that multiple rumors about Combs allegedly being gay had emerged online. A few others speculated if French Montana had been an accomplice in Combs' alleged crimes.

Choke No Joke's comments on French Montana and Diddy's association comes a month after the video made the rounds on social media.

However, it is to be noted that there has been no official record of French Montana serving as Combs' assistant. The Moroccan-American rapper was a Bad Boy Records artist before parting ways on amicable terms.
