"BRAT is so ready to be on #1," another fan opined.
Everything we know so far about Charli XCX's upcoming Brat remix album
Charli XCX's Brat remix album, titled Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat, is set to drop on October 11. The album will include 18 tracks, of which five will be previously released remix versions of tracks from the original Brat album, which was released on June 7.
During the announcement on September 11, Charli revealed some of the collaborations that will be included in the album, including 360 with Robyn and Yung Lean, Von Dutch with Addison Rae, Girl, So Confusing with Lorde, Guess with Billie Eilish, and Talk talk with Troye Sivan.
The album will also include a second disc with all the original songs from Brat and three new bonus tracks. Ahead of the album's release, Charli XCX has been teasing upcoming collaborations with multiple artists through billboards in the United States. Billboards with the names of Bon Iver and Tinashe were spotted by fans, per Billboard magazine.
The concept of Brat and its lime-green signature aesthetic became a rage on the internet after its release. Democratic Presidential nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris also used the font to promote her campaign for a while.
In a Tik-Tok video in June, Charli XCX explained the concept of "brat," which is central to her summer album.
"You're just like that girl who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things some times who feels like herself but maybe also has a breakdown. But kind of like parties through it, is very honest, very blunt. A little bit volatile. Like, does dumb things. That's brat."
Apart from gearing up to release her Brat remix album, Charli XCX is set to get into other big-budget projects in Hollywood. She is the co-executive producer for the score of A24's Mother Mary alongside Jack Antonoff. The singer is also on board for making new music for the Amazon series Overcompensating.
Charli XCX is also set to act in two films, a remake of Faces of Death by Daniel Goldhaber and the erotic thriller I Want Your Sex by Greg Araki.
