Eminem released his 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe de Grâce), on Friday, June 12, 2024. One of the songs on the 19-track project included a surprise appearance by Ez Mil, which left Filipino fans in a frenzy. They have since expressed excitement over the duo’s Head Honcho song.
The 3:54-minute song started with a verse by Ez Mil. As the song progressed, the musician began singing in Tagalong language with lyrics that read:
“Forty-five caliber or nine, it’s up to you/ Out of your many mistakes, only your brain is right/ With your narrow thinking, you couldn’t even respond/ Delving depths, it feels good to dip you in the sea/ No need to prove to anyone who is listening/ It cannot be detected by your senses or your mouth.”
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, then makes his highly anticipated appearance in the song in the chorus and later shares his rhymes solo in the Head Honcho track.
Internet users were thoroughly impressed by Eminem giving Ez Mil a platform to showcase Filipino culture in the latter’s native Tagalong language. Some reactions to the song feature read:

Ez Mil is signed to Eminem’s Shady Records
Ez Mil, born Ezekiel Miller, is an Olongapo, Philippines-based rapper, songwriter, and producer. A few of his popular songs include Till’ You’re Dead, Panalo, Victorious, and Re-up, among others.
The musician signed to Marshall’s Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records last year. Speaking about Ez signing with Shady Records, Marshall said in a press statement:
“We’ve never been out there signing a lot of artists, and one of the great things about how we built Shady is how selective we’ve been. And it’s even rarer that Dre and I sign something together – but I heard Ez’s music and was like, ‘this is really special” so I took it to Dre. We both agreed it would be a great fit and we wanted to work with him right on the spot.”
This is not the first time Ez Miller and Marshall have collaborated. The latter appeared on the former’s single Realest, which is part of his DU4LI7Y: REDUX album.
Meanwhile, fans of Em have expressed excitement over his latest album release. The LP is the singer’s first project since he released his Music to Be Murdered By album in 2020. A few songs from the new album include Lucifer, Bad One, Trouble, Habits, and Houdini.
