In a new post on his Instagram Story, Kodak Black admitted that he's "lonely af". Black acknowledged to his fans that he was going through it in a message he posted on Monday, August 19. Yak wrote
"Now I understand nobody give af about me if I ain't paying. Lonely af out here bro."
However, what disappointment Yak is talking about is unclear. Nevertheless, once the story was uploaded, netizens took to Instagram to express their opinion about the whole thing. Some said that he should go and “hangout” with Trump.
Some other Instagram users criticized him for that.
This has been referred to the fact that Black released a Trump campaign song on August 16. Bill Kapri, also known as Kodak Black, has been praising President Trump ever since the latter pardoned him in 2021 for forging documents in order to buy a pistol. Black even possesses a gold chain with Trump's image while puffing on a joint.
However, many came to his support and said they have got his back.
Additionally, previously some netizens reacted sympathetically when Kodak uploaded a similar status on his Instagram in October 2021 and then deleted his account.
Kodak Black had shared a similar status two and half years ago
The Internet recently reacted as Kodak Black shared an Instagram story about feeling lonely. People took to the platform to share their opinions and criticize the rapper. Some said that he should hang out with the former US president, Donald Trump.
This happened after the former president's remarks were sampled by Kodak Black and rapper Fivio Foreign, who listed him as a featured artist on the song ONBOA47RD.
Several streaming outlets named the former president as a featured artist for the song, as Black and Foreign rap about Trump being "family."
Nevertheless, not everyone criticized him. Many came to his support as well.
On the other hand, Trump's inauguration speech is featured in the song's opening line as well, which says,
"I will fight for you with every breath in my body, and I will never, ever let you down,"
However, what transpired prior to Kodak's messages is still unclear. Hot New HipHop suggested that Kodak Black has experienced several hardships, including drug addiction.
The ZEZE rapper did, however, announce early this year that he was getting his life back on track. On an Instagram Live on Saturday, April 6, he said,
"I remember a point in my life when I was chewing a lot of Percs. Bro, I’m proud of myself. I’ve never been this happy in my life, bro. I don’t know where this came from, what the f*ck going on.”
He further said,
“I ain’t even going to say I’m anti-Perc. Like, I never took a Perc since I was home. But bro, my dosage so low that I can’t believe it myself. Man, I’m telling y’all, bro.”
However, he has appeared to return to his vices on a few occasions this year and this might be one of them.
Additionally, this isn’t the first time Kodak did something like this. Several claimed that Kodak had already posted melancholy messages on social media. A few years ago, he tweeted that he was feeling depressed.
"So Lonely Depressed Sad & F*cked Up," he wrote then. "Nobody Love Me Nobody Cares … I’m Everywhere @ Once … Friends Playin In My Head … Girls Playin Wit My Heart , Wish I Can Go Back To The Start I’ll Never Be Famous ... Sitting In My Room Crying Feel Like Killing Myself."
Following this, both Kodak Black's Instagram and Twitter accounts were removed. After his popular status update, fans showered the Florida rapper with affection. Some suggested that the rapper get help, while others pointed out that wealth isn't always a sign of "happiness."
Some even said that they were praying for him to reach out to someone to get help. Another one suggested that somebody should go check on him.
Nevertheless, the rapper didn't say anything after the story.
