Scheduled to take place on February 22 at the Pasadena Civic Center, California, this year's theme for the event will be Our Stories, Our Culture, Our Excellence.
Wizkid's Piece of My Heart has been nominated in the categories 'Outstanding International Song' and 'Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary).'
The song was released on October 18, 2024, and features American singer Brent Faiyaz alongside Wizkid. It is also the lead single of the Nigerian singer's sixth studio album Morayo and samples Wu-Tang Clan's 1994 hit Can It Be All So Simple.
Meanwhile, other notable stars who got nominated for various categories include Burna Boy, Tems, Ayo Edebiri, Davido, Chris Brown, Usher, and others. Burna Boy and Usher were nominated for their song Coming Home. Actress Ayo Edebiri is the most nominated artist this year with five nods.
