On June 18, Justin Timberlake was charged with driving while intoxicated and released on bail. Videos of the incident quickly spread online, sparking hilarious reactions. X user @PopCulture2000s shared an image of Timberlake in handcuffs, looking inebriated and wearing a large t-shirt and jeans. A police officer was seen glaring at him as well.

The 43-year-old faced a DWI arrest in Miami. The musician was spotted going slowly on a deserted street in the early hours of Tuesday, June 18. After being caught inebriated, he was taken into custody. Law enforcement stated:

“(Timberlake's) eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”

Timberlake was taken to the Sag Harbor Police Headquarters; however, he refused to perform a “chemical test” that would determine his blood-alcohol levels.

He has since been charged with one count of running a stop sign, one count of failure to keep in lane, and another count of driving while intoxicated.

It has been confirmed that Justin Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, was not present at the scene at the time of his arrest. Law enforcement also released a statement that read:

“Mr. Timberlake was placed under arrest, processed, and held overnight for morning arraignment for morning arraignment. Mr. Timberlake was arraigned at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on June 18, 2024, at 9:30AM where he was released on his own recognizance.”

Justin Timberlake is scheduled to appear in court on July 26.
