Eminem's upcoming album The Death Of Slim Shady (COUP DE GRÂCE) explored
After much waiting, fans are not excited to witness Eminem's upcoming twelfth studio album, which is to be released in two days. Meanwhile, he had already garnered attention on the album by releasing the entire track list to the public.
Tobey, his mostly recently released track which also would be a part of the album, was the second single after Houdini. The first track released on May 31 became controversial after it cited the 2020 shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion, cancel culture, and several other questionable topics.
The upcoming album, as reported earlier, will be 19 tracks long, making it longer than Eminem's previous albums like Recovery and Kamikaze. Fans speculate some tracks on the album are sequels to his fan-favorite classics, especially the track Guilty Conscience 2 as an extension of his 1999 collaboration with Dr. Dre.
HotNewHipHop reported that since Dr. Dre is already involved in the upcoming album, he is possibly a part of several tracks. Fans noticed the album had "demonic imagery" in the entire tracklist with tracks like Lucifer, Antichrist, and Bad One. The album's final trailer also showed a lady giving birth to a demonic child.
On July 9, the rapper revealed the official artwork of the upcoming album in which he is wide-eyed while possibly getting zipped up in a body bag.
Eminem's eleventh studio album seemingly received mixed responses although it became quite popular
Eminem's last studio album was released in January 2020 and was titled Music To Be Murdered By. The album received three out of five stars from NME and also got a review that read,
"He’s ready to pass on hard-earned wisdom before running his mouth like he hasn’t learned his own lessons. And he offers casual fans a hook or two before embarking on another lyrical work-out."
This album included tracks like Godzilla and Darkness.
Eminem's fanbase has been excited since the initial teaser and the revelation of the official artwork and the entire tracklist of the album increased their anticipation.
