As Drake continues to make headlines, his supporter DJ Akademiks recently revealed in his livestream that the former had a secret hater from the rap scene. The latter did not reveal the identity of the industry legend. Since then, many have taken to the internet to speculate on the same, with one netizen saying:

On May 30, 2024, DJ Akademiks took to his livestream to reveal that a rapper who has collaborated with Drizzy to produce some of Drizzy's biggest hit songs is secretly hating on him. The social media personality stated that some of his friends had already guessed who the unknown singer was, however, he refused to reveal the identity of the musician. He said online:

“All the popular rappers are going against him [Drake] including, I found out Drake has an op that none of us know, that is a huge rapper, that we all think is his friend. I found out, like, two days, I won’t even drop out the name.”

DJ Akademiks went on to clarify that the rapper in question was certainly not 21 Savage, who collaborated with Drizzy on the Her Loss album that was released in November 2022. However, Akademiks left netizens to guess, with many believing that the mysterious hater is Travis Scott. Some reactions to DJ Akademiks’ latest revelation read:

Why are netizens speculating that Travis Scott has beef with Drake?

In April, the Certified Lover Boy played MELTDOWN from Travis Scott’s UTOPIA album during his ALL A Blur-Big As The What? Tour performance. TMZ Hip Hop reportedly gathered footage of Drizzy sending “gunfire” hand gestures at a head prop of Travis Scott. Hot New Hip Hop speculated that Drizzy was doing the same movement during every show when he sang the lyrics: “Like TV producers we, grr, we airing this s**t.”

Travis Scott also reportedly pleaded with Metro Boomin and Future to play Like That, a Drake-diss song, at Rolling Loud. The same took place after Drizzy’s MELTDOWN dance movements.

It appears as if internet users are convinced that, due to Scott seemingly taking sides with Kendrick Lamar amid K. Dot’s feud with Drizzy, it is likely that he is the rapper who is secretly hating on Drizzy.

However, it is worth noting that neither Drizzy nor Travis Scott have publicly dissed each other.
