Kesha can't believe that people are still body-shaming other people in 2024, and she has something to say to online trolls who have been talking smack about her body.
In a post she shared via X on Sunday, July 7, the 37-year-old singer wrote:
"I didn't think in 2024 people still body shamed."
The American singer-songwriter isn't having any of the negativity from body shamers, saying she's proud of her body and its journey. She further wrote:
"[But] I am so proud of my body. She's been through a lot. She's torn her ACL on stage and finished the show. She's held my f**cking broken heart together."
The pop singer mentioned how body shaming doesn't affect her negatively, but in fact makes her feel more "powerful." She even added a smiling face and a bicep emoji alongside two bikini photos showing off her physique.
"To those who think you're shaming me, you're actually making me feel very powerful. So, to you, I hope you one day feel whole enough to not tear other women down. In the meantime, hate me harder b**ch."

The We R Who We R singer has been candid about her relationship with her body as well as her past struggle with an eating disorder. It's also not the first time the hitmaker has experienced body shaming and has spoken about it.
In an interview with the New York Times in 2016, she opened up about starving herself and that she almost tried to kill herself in the process because of the negative comments about her body and the stress of the industry.

Kesha is back with a new music release
The global pop superstar is taking the music scene by storm with a new summer anthem, her brand new single as an independent artist. Kesha has been open about wanting to claim her voice back as a free woman after parting ways with her record label and her years-long legal battle with Dr. Luke.
Her latest single, Joyride, is out now after making its timely release on Independence Day, July 4. It's the first single after her fifth album Gag Order, her last contractual release with Kemobae. It also marks the first piece of music she will be releasing via her newly launched label, Kesha Records. She celebrated the release on X while also giving a shoutout to her fans. She wrote:
"I couldn't have made it through without all of you. Now we joyride."
The Die Young singer has been teasing her latest music album for several days before its release with photos and videos on her social media.
Kesha also made a live debut of her new single on June 29 at the Planet Pride Fest in Brooklyn, New York, telling her fans before starting the track that she's a "free motherf**cking woman."
