At the recent Tiny Desk concert performance, he had a small team of 8 musicians. Apart from Ryan Leslie himself, there was Gabriel Lambirth on the guitar, Jason Huffman on keys, John Young on bass, Jermaine Parrish on drums and percussion, and finally, Charity Davis, Samara Brown, and Latif Williams on vocals.

“This album is a collection of recordings that represent the essence of a decade of experiences accumulated while traveling, building a technology company from scratch and launching a global investment fund.”
He further said:
“In many ways, London serves as a fitting backdrop for a long-overdue return to stage as many nights have been spent rehearsing, recording, and performing in landmark venues and studios across the UK.”
He added that You Know My Speed is a brief, sparse, and sonically intense song, that perfectly encapsulates the passion that propels his quest for greatness in every endeavor.
His independently published third album, Les Is More, was released in 2012. Leslie dropped his fourth album titled Black Mozart in 2013, exclusively accessible through Leslie's #Renegades DirectToConsumer Club.
