"He can’t handle that eye contact" — Internet reacts to Chief Keef shocked at learning Solange is his fan during meet-up

Chief Keef, who is now on his ongoing A Lil Tour, promoting his album Almighty So 2, recently discovered that Solange Knowles is a fan. His reaction upon knowing this fact was captured and the video has been going viral on the internet.

In the footage, originally shared by The Neighborhood Talk on November 4, Keef could be seen shocked to discover that Solange loved his work. In one part of the clip, he even exclaimed:

"What the f**k is going on!"

In another part, he addressed Solange as his "bestie." The interaction reportedly happened in the backstage after one of his concerts. Not just Chief Keef, but his fans also expressed excitement upon the encounter with Solange. Here are some popular responses found on X, formerly known as Twitter:

"Sosa blushing but you can't tell," another person said.
"Them eyes dangerous, had bro nervous," another netizen said.
"Chief Keef and Solange are two of the greatest icons of the culture, I love this interaction 🥹," commented another X user.

A lot of others expressed their reactions on social media about the interaction. A user tweeted:

"This was actually kinda beautiful."
"Oooh he can't handle the stare game," another person said.
"It’s always fun seeing artists discover unexpected fans in each other. The fact that he reacted with, “yo, what the f**k is going on?” is peak authenticity from him," another netizen commented.

Meanwhile, Keef's Almighty So 2 album consists of 16 songs featuring artists like Sexyy Red, G Herbo, Lil Gnar, Tierra Whack, and more.


Chief Keef made headlines by performing in his hometown Chicago after more than a decade

In June 2024, Chief Keef was in the news after he performed in Chicago for the first time in the past 12 years, as he headlined Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Festival.

He previously gave a live performance in the city back in 2012 during Lollapalooza. Lyrical Lemonade founder Cole Bennett told NBC Chicago on June 15:

"He’s so integrated in Chicago and the Hip-Hop and music scene here. To bring him back home, in a way that feels like a true celebration."

Bennett additionally stated:

"I truly think it will be one of the more memorable, iconic, talked about moments. Not just Hip-Hop, live event history, but music history in general."

During the show, he involved fragments of his album Almighty So 2, by performing several tracks from this album which was released in May 2024. He also performed some of his hit tracks during the show, including Faneto and I Don’t Like.

About 40,000 people gathered in SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview to enjoy Keef's concert. Fans seemed quite excited about the artist's homecoming.


Almighty So 2 is Chief Keef's fifth studio album and is considered a sequel to his 2013 mixtape Almighty So. It also made its place on the US Billboard 200 and peaked at number 30. Currently on his A Lil Tour, Keef is scheduled to perform at Denver, Fillmore Auditorium on November 6, 2024.
