The fan reactions were varied, with some people urging Kanye West to continue updating the album and others pointing out the difference in the track with the new verse.

"I needed this so badly. Kanye please update the album again," one fan reacted.
'Sh*t like this is legitimately annoying because on one hand it’s an actual good verse by current Ye standards and shows he (or his writers) can easily produce this while on the other hand proves how much of a lazy procrastinator he is rn," another fan stated.

"This song really needs some house drums fr, loved the new verse," added a fan.

Some also commented on how Kanye West was changing his release strategy.

"Sucks that most people won't realize the changes being made to the album and will just write it off as bad but I get it," was the reaction of one commentor.

"Crazy to think that Ye is changing the game again. Release unfinished music to the public. Make adjustments real time using the feedback from fans and critics. Then re-release the updated music. Uses live concerts to also premiere new versus and versions," stated one netizen.

More on Kanye West's track Forever's new verse

The original Forever track is a collaboration with James Blake and was released as part of Vultures 2. The new Kanye West Forever track verse is as follows:

"Just to cope. Just a possible word of hope, like, maybe, possibly, if time didn't exist.../for being years in this b**ch, these lifetimes flips,we gonna shine in this sh*t/ every time time is what's more than enough for forever, worth more than big stones, red metals, checked in won't cover the rose puddles/ lights on lights off, there's no difference/"

The verse continues:

"Still on the level, the box of drop shipping lost, last year this drop was not hitting, I don't think ur in the spot to talk sh*t in one/ Warn these n***gers about to come sit and smoke these like a box of carcinogens/"

The new Forever verse continues:

The Hermes don't be sweet to like pendulum, my b*tch got the milk we need cinnamon/ Please don't ruin the scene, we aren't fumbling, throw that sh*t in the loop, I'm reliving it. Throw that sh*t on me, I keep killing it
