Comedian Eddie Griffin has recently referred to Sean "Diddy" Combs as a "dead man" while appearing on his YouTube channel on Monday, September 23. During the same program, he stated that Combs will not be allowed to leave prison, while he is awaiting trial on allegations of s*x trafficking and racketeering.

Speaking about Diddy's detention and accusations, Griffin warned the rapper and further predicted that the rapper is probably not going to survive jail.

Talking about the same, he said:

"He a dead man, that's for damn sure"

Griffin added:

"He ain't gonna live. I'd be surprised if he live past the end of September. 'Cause he a dead man walking."

"There's a contest in the penitentiary right now" — Eddie Griffin opens up about Diddy being in prison

In a video posted on his YouTube account on Monday, the stand-up comedian Eddie Griffin discussed Combs' current situation. He made the accusations that "every record label executive" had probably placed a bounty on Combs' head to silence him. He implied that the rapper may expose possible collaborators or those who chose to ignore his alleged misdeeds. He said:

"I wonder who [is] going to get the money, there's got to be a $100million hit on this, there's a contest in the penitentiary right now."

The comedian added:

"Your ego got out of whack because you [were] controlling everything at them freak parties, now you've chopped both your feet and your hands off and your head's coming next."

After pleading "not guilty", Diddy was placed in pre-trial prison at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. On September 17, the rapper's attorneys offered $50 million in bail and in-home incarceration. Judge Tarnofsky, however, ruled that the Tell Me star would be "detained" in a jail, which the Mirror called "hell on earth" in their September 23 article.

Combs could reportedly receive a mandatory minimum term of 15 years in jail for a conviction of s*x trafficking, and a maximum sentence of life in prison if found guilty on racketeering crimes.

This happened after the rapper was called a "freak off" for allegedly pressuring women into "elaborate and produced s*x performances." Following the rapper's arrest, the authorities unveiled the indictment, which alleged Combs as the leader of a criminal organization involved in or seeking to engage in a range of illegal activities, such as forced labor, drug offenses, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.

It was also asserted in the document that more than a thousand bottles of baby oil and lubricant were found during FBI raids on his estates in Miami and Los Angeles.

It was further reported in the indictment that Diddy's accomplices would threaten anyone who refused to participate and would allegedly load victims with medications to keep them obedient. Similar allegations were made in a civil complaint filed by Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie last year.

Diddy has been kept in the Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center

Combs was detained at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City on September 16 and charged with both s*x trafficking and providing transportation for the purpose of engaging in pr*stitution. After getting arrested last week, he is now being held at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center (MDC).

According to Mirror, MDC has been called a "hell on earth" due to the stabbing death of felon Uriel Whyte, who was there earlier this year while awaiting trial on gun-related crimes. The correctional facility previously housed fellow infamous rapper R. Kelly, convicted s*x offender Ghislaine Maxwell, and con artist Billy McFarland.

Furthermore, the MDC has also been beset by rumors of ongoing lockdowns, violent outbursts, and an increase in stabbings. However, Federal Bureau of Prisons told Mirror that it takes the duty "seriously" and "protect all individuals" entrusted in its custody.

Ever since he was denied bail, Diddy's lawyers haven't commented on the matter.
