"I go all out for every date. We go all out for each other. One time Sel was like, 'Oh, I want to take you on a date.' I was like, 'Oh, that's so sweet.' Then we drove somewhere and she had rented out a whole botanical gardens for me," he said.

According to Blanco, he returned the favor by preparing Gomez's favorite delicacies like homemade movie-theater nachos and fried pickles for Valentines' Day.

In the same interview, Benny Blanco talked about his love for spending time with Selena Gomez early in the morning. The record producer explained that both he and his partner were early risers who would utilize the beginning of the day to spend quality time with each other.

He further elaborated on his habit of sleeping early at night and waking up before sunrise.

"I get sleepy at nighttime. I'm like an old man. I want to go to bed early. I want to lay down. I want to be horizontal as quickly as possible throughout the day," he quips. "I still wake up at 6 no matter what time [I go to bed]. I go to bed at 5:30 [a.m.] and I'm up at 6:15.'" he explained.

He concluded the interview by describing Selena Gomez as his "best friend" who he got to kiss every morning.
