A video of rapper and singer Bad Bunny seemingly fainting after eating food on a Puerto Rican television show recently went viral on X. On January 8, the rapper appeared on the show Alexandra a las 12 (Alexandra at 12), telecast on the network Telemundo, to promote his new album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

During a segment in the interview, Bad Bunny is seen eating something from a plastic container while the interviewer, Alexandra, addresses him. The rapper seemingly faints and falls from his chair seconds after eating the food.

The 30-second snippet was uploaded to X by user @AccessBadBunny on January 8, 2024. The clip garnered over 1 million views at the time of this article.

The clip did not raise much concern among his fans on social media, with the common consensus being the rapper was acting like he fainted. One fan dubbed him "goofy," tweeting:

"He so goofy! I love my man."

Many commented on Bad Bunny's acting, which was met with mixed responses.

"W actor," one X user posted.
"Hispanic acting has always always always been hilariously bad to me lmfao," another person contradicted.
"Give him an Oscar," another person added.
"Acting like out of a novel," another X user wrote.

However, other comments claimed they initially believed he had truly fainted after eating the food.

"Why’d I think they like poisoned him or something omg," one person tweeted.
"IS HE OKAY," another person asked.
"Why you caption it like that!!! I was scared for a sec," another person added.

Bad Bunny released a new album in January 2025

Bad Bunny released his sixth solo album titled Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should Have Taken More Photos) on January 5, 2025. The 17-track album featured collaborations from fellow Puerto Rican artists like Omar Courtz and Dei V, among others.

The rapper and singer admitted that he still felt like "a rookie" 10 years into his music career in an interview with Apple's Zane Lowe uploaded to YouTube on January 8.

“I’ve been reflecting about my whole life, my history, and also about my career, when I’ve been doing all these years, I’m about to turn 10 years in the industry. And that’s f**king crazy because sometimes I feel that I’m a rookie, this is my first year! This is my first album to me,” he said.

Bad Bunny, aged 30, also spoke about being depressed in his 20s, recalling the panic he felt when he turned 20 and thought he was a "f**king old man." He added that he "learned not to think too much" as he grew older, and decided to enjoy life and trust in God.

The rapper also said that Debí Tirar Más Fotos was a celebration of his heritage as a Puerto Rican. Bad Bunny recently came to his home country's defense after a comedian dubbed it a "floating island of garbage" during a Trump rally in October 2024.

Following the remarks, which garnered intense backlash, the rapper announced his endorsement of Trump's opponent, Kamala Harris.

Debí Tirar Más Fotos is Bad Bunny's sixth solo album. It followed his 2023 LP titled Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow). The latest album is now available on all music platforms.
