In the September 5 segment of CBS Mornings, host Jamie Yuccas asked Kelce why he didn't attend her wedding with girlfriend Taylor Swift. She said:

"I invited you and taylor to my wedding in Sydney, Australia and you were there the day of the wedding and you guys didn’t come."

Kelce took the light-hearted accusation sportingly and blamed Swift's "vocal rest" for their absence. The NFL star responded:

"I blame that on Taylor, vocal rest, vocal rest!"

Fans found Travis Kelce's exchange with the host amusing and took to X to share their thoughts. One user observed that the NFL star was in a hurry to leave after his explanation, and wrote:

Speaking about handling the fame and his newfound attention since he began dating Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce revealed that his family is slowly getting used to it.

“Everyone’s loving it. Mama Kelce is having so much fun. I think my dad is slowly getting more comfortable with it, and Jason [Kelce] has always been a pro at it."
