Offset's birthday party was filled with surprises, with a special visit from his estranged wife Cardi B and a gift that paid tribute to his late Migos bandmate Takeoff. Offset, who turned 33 on December 14, 2024, celebrated his birthday over the weekend at Habibi Miami in Vice City.

During the party, jeweler Mazza New York gifted the rapper a custom-made white gold-encrusted ring inspired by the cover art of Takeoff's 2018 album The Last Rocket. According to TMZ, which obtained an exclusive video of the event, the ring was reportedly estimated at $60K.

Offset's Takeoff-inspired gift received mixed reactions from netizens on social media. One person dubbed the enormous ring "vulgar," tweeting:

"It’s so vulgar. He’ll never wear that."

Many seemed to agree with this sentiment, claiming the ring would remain in a drawer unworn.

"Then he just puts it in the drawer," one person tweeted.
"Only 60 bands too," another person commented.

Others used this as a chance to comment about Takeoff's death, which happened in 2022.

"He pop ALL that shit but the mf that blew Takeoff dreads off still breathing.... Sad f**king case," one person commented.
"Crazy takeoff died because of one of their stupid a** beef," another person added.
"Long live takeoff," someone else wrote.

For the unversed, Takeoff was fatally shot at a Houston bowling alley in November 2022. The Migos rapper was 28 at the time of his death.

Cardi B and Travis Scott were among the guests at Offset's birthday

On December 14, 2024, Offset hosted his 33rd birthday party at Habibi Miami, with a star-studded guest list including rapper Travis Scott and his estranged wife Cardi B. According to People Magazine, other guests included Keyshia Cole, Key Glock and Rich The Kid, to name a few.

Cardi B's appearance at the party caused fanfare, with netizens pointing out that Offset kept glancing at his estranged wife as she twerked. Their marriage hit a hurdle after Cardi filed for divorce a second time in August 2024. The pair share three children, the youngest of which was born in September 2024.

The couple were recently involved in a social media drama over the weekend after Offset's online account was reportedly hacked, leading to some text messages between them being leaked.

After fans online suggested the Migos rapper did not seem like he was still interested in Cardi, on seeing the messages, Cardi decided to post an explicit text thread between them. In the messages, the Migos rapper requested Cardi to come over, saying he "wants to f**k."

Cardi deleted the screenshot hours after she first posted it. According to Billboard, the WAP rapper later took to X Spaces to explain her current relationship with her estranged husband, claiming they were on "good terms."

“Sh*t is old. It’s not on purpose. I will never get back with this n****a. I’m not even gonna lie, we’ve been peaceful for a week. So, we like the energy … I don’t bother you, you don’t bother me. You heard I’m with a n****a, don’t bother me. I hear you with a b***h, I don’t bother you. So, we been on good terms.”

In other news, Offset released his new single, Swing My Way, on December 13. The accompanying music video, uploaded on YouTube, also starred supermodel Anok Yai.
