On Saturday, January 25, Omar Gooding uploaded a diss track aimed at Cam'ron on his YouTube channel, titled Fix Ya Mouth. The actor-turned-singer also added "Cam'ron diss" next to the song's name. Gooding's diss track comes after the More Reasons rapper talked about him in a December 2024 interview with 50 Cent in Talk With Flee.

A post talking about Omar Gooding's new diss track was uploaded on X by @ArtOfDialogue_ on Monday, January 27, and has since gone viral, receiving over 232K views within hours. Netizens have reacted to the tweet, with one user commenting:

"He rap better than 75% of the rappers today!"

Some netizens supported Goodman's rapping skills.

"Give him his props. This was *a fire emoji inserted*." - commented an X user.
"Sweet Pea finally found something else he's good at besides robbin'." - added another one.
"Why he rhyme like Camron AT CAMRON??" - replied a third user.

Meanwhile, others suggested that Omar was no match for Cam'ron in terms of rapping.

"Uhhh I don’t think an actor trying to diss a rapper who battle Jay-Z is a good idea lol" - posted a fourth netizen.
"This aint that bad but damn Kenny got everybody getting in the booth. But Cam if he responds will circles around him lol" - wrote a fifth one.
"Nah Cam battled Nas Jay-Z & 50 he’s gunna laugh this off. He could do a whole album on this guys more famous brother and all his weird cases. But this isn’t worth him coming out of his semi retirement." - commented a sixth user.

Cam'ron talked about Gooding in a recent interview

Per AllHipHop, Cam'ron name-tagged Omar Gooding on his show where he was interviewing 50 Cent, suggesting that Black actors like him depended on the latter to secure acting gigs. The rapper continued:

"No disrespect to nobody I’m talking about like Ving Rhames, you sitting around, or Omar Gooding Jr., y’all n***as sitting around. I would have saved my money and shot my own sh*t by now, but the Black actor has to sit around for a 50 Cent or somebody in your lane to come pick them up to actually do a to put them in something."

According to the media outlet, Cam'ron's comment didn't appear to be a direct jab at Omar Gooding but was presented more as a broader observation. However, the actor felt attacked, leading to the creation of Fix Ya Mouth.

In the latest diss song, Omar Gooding was heard mimicking the cadence and delivery that's distinctive of the 48-year-old, while critiquing the rapper's statements.

Gooding, who first started working in the 1990s, has built a diverse résumé for himself. His first gig was on Nickelodeon where he hosted Wild & Crazy Kids. Omar's work as Sweetpea in the 2001 drama, Baby Boy, also earned the actor critical acclaim.

Since 2012, Gooding has starred in a Bounce TV sitcom, Family Time. He also played Cal Johnson on Disney's Saturdays in 2023.

Cam'ron is at the center of several beefs at the moment

While Omar Gooding's diss track aimed at Cam'ron dropped yesterday, the Christmas in Harlem rapper will soon face another diss track - Jim Jones' upcoming track, JOMO, set to release on January 31.

Jones, who is Cam'ron's long-standing rival, wrote on Instagram last week, on January 22, announcing that the release date for JOMO had been pushed forward. Instead of dropping on January 20 - as initially decided - the track will now drop on January 31, 2025.

In the preview of the song attached to the Instagram post, Jones rapped:

"All my n***as do they time, you know my team body / It’s been seven years since I’ve seen Shotti / It’s been seven years since I saw Melly / And now he gotta fly straight ’cause he got four fellies."

Cam'ron is yet to respond to Omar Gooding's and Jim Jones' diss track.
