DJ Akademiks' friend recently told him that Drake is using him as a "billboard" during a live stream on his channel. The internet personality seemed flabbergasted by his friend's comments, supposedly claiming Drizzy has been taking advantage and using him.

"You think Drake shows you love?," his friend asked in the video.

At some instances, Akademiks tried to deny his friend's claims, indicating that the Canadian rapper has shown him "a lot of love." However, his friend continued to hold his ground, adding:

"He's using you as a free Billboard! Free promo! That’s not love, bro! He’s using you! That’s free promo! You are the biggest HipHop media platform!”

Fans took to X to react to DJ Akademiks' friend's claims about Drake. Many were left amused by the internet personality's confused reaction in the video as well. One X user commented:

When DJ Akademiks reacted to Kendrick Lamar's alleged diss aimed at him in new song

On September 11, Kendrick Lamar released an untitled new song via his Instagram, where he appeared to take digs at DJ Akademiks for his bias towards Drake. Fans alleged that several lines in Lamar's new song are aimed at DJ Akademiks. The lyrics say:

"Influencers talk down 'cause I'm not with the basic sh*t/But they don't hate me, they hate the man that I represent / The type of man that never d*ck ride 'cause I want a favor."

Lamar further rapped:

"The radio personality pushing propaganda for salary/Let me know when they turn up as a casualty."

Shortly after Lamar released his track, DJ Akademiks commented on his Instagram post, reacting to the same. The internet personality wrote:

"No no noooo."

During his Wednesday night stream (September 11), DJ Akademiks shared his thoughts on Lamar's track in detail, claiming that the rapper was not right in taking alleged digs at him. He said:

"You can't say there isn't a game 2, then immediately drop a track seemingly baiting game 2."

The influencer also took to X to criticize Lamar, allegedly pointing at him reigniting his beef with Drake as a "Round 2." He wrote:

"Somebody clearly believe there is a Round 2 😭"

In a follow-up tweet, Akademiks urged Lamar to drop more hits instead of focusing on more diss-tracks aimed at Drake and him. He continued:

"lol dropping on 9/11 . Pop out concert on Juneteenth . Wait lemme guess. New diss song on Halloween/ thanks giving / drake birthday/ Christmas. Bruh drop a single.. u just got announced as the headliner of superbowl. No Round 2s. Just drop em hits."

Finally, DJ Akademiks shared the lyrics of Lamar's old diss-track aimed at Drake, Euphoria. In the song, Lamar rapped that he hates how Drizzy "sneak disses" at him, adding that he would be "direct" if he had to call out someone. The infleuncer's post appeared to mock Lamar for his supposed dig at the former in his latest track, where he did not mention Akademiks by his name.

This is not the first time Kendrick Lamar has aimed a diss at DJ Akademiks. In his Drake diss-track 6:16 at LA, the rapper claimed Akademiks leads the Drizzy propaganda train due to his known fondness towards the Canadian rapper. He name-called the influencer in the song.
