The pair married in a secret courthouse ceremony in 2018 after dating for three years. In a 2020 interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Justin Bieber told the host he would love to have a "little tribe," but he would respect Hailey's wishes.

"I am going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out. I'd love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do... I think she wants to have a few."
