As for the banner, it belonged to an actual law firm. According to the firm's official website, they specialised in California Lemon Law, cases surrounding train, truck, motorcycle, and pedestrian accidents, catastrophic accidents, wrongful death, animal attacks, and a lot more.

Attorney Benjamin Drake founded the law firm in LA, and has successfully recovered about $150 million for his clients.

In the suit, Drake claimed that Universal Music Group has put his life in danger by promoting Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us

On Wednesday, January 15, Drake filed a federal lawsuit against UMG accusing them of releasing and also further promoting Lamar's diss track from May 2024. In the suit, he further claimed that UMG chose "corporate greed over the safety and well-being of its artists."

The suit was filed at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, accuses Universal of having “approved, published, and launched a campaign to create a viral hit out of a rap track."

According to the suit, the diss track lyrics which called the Canadian rapper a "certified p*dophile" was related to the May shooting that happened at the rapper'a residence.

Drake has also named several content creators in his latest lawsuit, accusing them of spreading false information about him. According to The New York Times, the suit was filed by Michael J. Gottlieb on the rapper's behalf. Gottlieb is a partner at the firm Willkie Michael J. Gottlieber. In a statement by UMG, the label mentioned:

"Throughout his career, Drake has intentionally and successfully used UMG to distribute his music and poetry to engage in conventionally outrageous back-and-forth ‘rap battles’ to express his feelings about other artists."

The statement further read:

"He now seeks to weaponize the legal process to silence an artist’s creative expression and to seek damages from UMG for distributing that artist’s music."

This suit happened after Drake withdrew a previous filing against UMG and Spotify, where he claimed that the companies used bots to boost the popularity of Lamar's Not Like Us.
