William "Ray J" Norwood Jr has defended Suge Knight's recent claims where the latter alleged how music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was a victim of abuse by several big names in the industry.

The former CEO of Death Row Records was part of a telephonic interview with NewsNation's Chris Cuomo on September 24. He alleged that several big names used to get into heavier drugs like cocaine once they got into the music industry. Furthermore, Knight implied that Diddy himself was a victim of s*xual assault early in his career.

Suge Knight's claims were substantiated by Ray J, who joined Cuomo to discuss the explosive claims made by Knight.

“Most of the time, when Suge is saying something, it’s coming from experience. He’s not making it up. This is serious," said Ray J (as per News Nation's report on September 25).

What claims did Suge Knight make about Diddy and other big names in the industry?

Talking about Diddy, who has recently been arrested for several counts of s*xual trafficking and racketeering, Suge Knight alleged that the disgraced media mogul was a prey before becoming a predator.

According to Suge Knight, Diddy “was taught from people before him, and he did it to the younger people after him.” He went on to allege the industry's norm of s*xually exploiting newcomers, implying that it wasn't a secret and the higher-ups were aware of everything going on.

“Because this been going on in the industry for a whole bunch of years, for decades and at the same time. You know, nobody wanted to be true, and it shouldn’t have to be true,” Knight said.

Chris Cuomo asked whether Diddy was a victim before he allegedly started exploiting others. In response, Knight said:

“Yeah, I think that’s absolutely right. I think it was done to him,”

The convicted music mogul name-dropped industry juggernauts like Clive Davis, Russell Simmons, and Andre Harrell, claiming that they used intoxicants to compromise Diddy's "manhood".

“So once they got on cocaine, once they got on drugs, once they got on alcohol, then that’s when the weird stuff happened. I think that’s what took Puffy [Combs] down that lane,” Knight claimed.

However, it is important to note that Davis, Simmons, and Harrell have never been charged with the allegations made by Suge Knight. Furthermore, a spokesperson for Davis told NewsNation that the claims were "100 percent false as nothing of the sort ever happened."

Knight also claimed that Diddy wasn't "gay" because of his s*xual preference, but chose to be so to exercise control over others.

“[Combs] was taught that. He got Usher as a kid … alcohol, drugs, s*x. Justin Bieber — and see they do these things to take control. You choose to be gay that’s your preference, but they’re doing this to people for control,” said Knight.

The treatment of women in the industry was another topic discussed in the interview. Suge Knight alleged that it was the job of an unnamed man to bring women (including underage girls) to have s*x with the employees and other artists.

He also accused Diddy of assaulting another girl in addition to Cassie Ventura, who was eventually provided hush money by means of a payroll by Interscope.

“I shouldn’t say that, because I’m trying to protect her, her image, but he beat the s— out of her and Cassie. He did things to her you should never do to a woman,” Knight said.

The imprisoned rapper finally called for a change in the industry, explaining that history would keep repeating itself if proper action wasn't taken.

Diddy is currently at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) which is often described as "hell on Earth." The media mogul is reportedly on suicide watch after being denied bail twice.
