Rapper Oschino recently shared his thoughts on J. Cole dropping out from the recent Drake and Lamar's beef. Drake and Kendrick Lamar's dispute, which emerged out of a collaboration between J. Cole and Drake, titled First Person Shooter, created a lot of headlines earlier this year.

While the beef continued with Drake and Lamar releasing several diss tracks targeted at each other, J. Cole stepped out of the dispute at one point. Cole released a diss track aimed at Lamar, 7 Minute Drill, in April this year, and later apologized to Kendrick for the same while performing at the Dreamville Festival in North Carolina the same month.

Meanwhile, rapper Oschino has recently expressed his dissatisfaction with Cole for backing out of the beef. Oschino appeared for an interview on Vlad TV on October 30, 2024, and addressed the dispute by saying:

"I just didn't like when he like when he tapped out from Kendrick Lamar, like I mean I just didn't, yeah, that was real soft. I mean he's a dope he's hot as sh*t like so I just thought you got the same. You just as good as him, I don't understand. I didn't understand that."

Host DJ Vlad then referred to a phrase from J. Cole's new song Port Antonio and Oschino replied by saying:

"He's trying to be deep but this is like some b*tch sh*t to me. I don't know him but I f*ck with his music. To me it's like bro, hip-hop is about like all right I think I'm better than you, you think you better than me."

Vlad also addressed the fact that Lamar removed his diss track from streaming services. While Vlad called 7 Minute Drill a "soft" song, Oschino responded and said:

"I'd rather make a soft song than make a song saying like you want a bro. Kendrick Lamar wasn't coming at you. He coming at you full force. I don't know I would but he's probably raised different. I don't know where he's from."

J. Cole speaks on tapping out of Kendrick Lamar and Drake's beef

Also known as Jermaine Lamarr Cole, he released a new track titled Port Antonio through Instagram on October 9, 2024. The single's lyrics featured the rapper addressing the time when he stepped out of the dispute between Kendrick Lamar and Drake earlier this year. J. Cole is heard rapping:

"I pulled the plug because I've seen where that was 'bout to go / They wanted blood, they wanted clicks to make they pockets grow."

Apart from that, he referred to the beef where Lamar and Drake were bringing their personal lives.

"They say I'm pickin' sides, ayy, don't you lie on me, my n*gga / Then start another war, ayy, Drake, you'll always be my n*gga / I ain't ashamed to say you did a lot for me, my n*gga / F*ck all the narratives," Cole rapped.

As mentioned, J. Cole decided to step out of the feud by apologizing to Lamar for his diss track 7 Minute Drill, as per NPR. Before that, the song was removed from different streaming services.

The dispute between Lamar and Drake led to the release of singles such as Push-Ups, Euphoria, and Family Matters. Not Like Us was the last track released by Lamar and while Drake did not respond to the same, many people declared Lamar as the winner of the dispute.
