On the other hand, others were also prompt to leave their reactions, as many commented:
TMZ reported that law enforcement authorities arrested Lil Baby after they received footage from the Encore in Las Vegas showing the rapper being given a gun by someone. He was then arrested, and taken to the Clark County Detention Center. At the moment, he is being held on a $5,000 bail bond.
Lil Baby’s lawyers defend the rapper after his arrest in the concealed weapon case
After Lil Baby was arrested from Las Vegas on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, the attorneys of the rapper released a statement claiming that they are making efforts to understand what led to his arrest. His attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff spoke to TMZ and stated:
“To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
However, the publication also mentioned how permits issued in Georgia are not recognised in Nevada, hence, carrying a concealed weapon without proper state law is a punishable offence in Las Vegas.
On the other hand, Hollywood Reporter also stated in their report that Clark County court does not show any charges filed against the rapper, as he was released from custody after posting the bond for $5,000. He will now be appearing in court on October 1, 2024.
At the moment, the rapper has neither released any statement nor has addressed his recent arrest.
