Marlon Wayans recently addressed Kendrick Lamar and Drake's feud as he spoke on the radio show, Big Boy's Neighborhood, on December 14, 2024. Drake and Lamar released multiple diss tracks as part of their feud earlier this year, targeting each other's lives.

Speaking on Big Boy's Neighborhood, Marlon Wayans revealed that he heard the songs while on a road trip and described the feud as a "beautiful battle." He said that Drake should never feel bad about what happened between him and Lamar and continued:

"What they did collectively for that entertainment, how we all felt, that was a Super Bowl Halftime moment for me. To be a part of that whole week that was one of the greatest weeks in hip-hop."

The actor and comedian even addressed Drake's victory over artists such as Future, adding that the rapper has the potential to make a good comeback. Wayans also appreciated Drake for the way he stood "toe-to-toe" in the rap battle as he stated:

"But look how many people it took. This was like he was Thanos and all the Avengers was coming after him. I gotta give Drake his credit for standing toe-to-toe, like, 'Nah, I got something for you. …'"

Wayans additionally compared a few of the diss tracks to the singles of artists such as Jay-Z and mentioned how Lamar did in the rap battle by saying that he was able to target Drake "in the soul" which cannot be done by anyone else.

Marlon Wayans had previously addressed Drake's feud on another occasion

Also known as Marlon Lamont Wayans, he appeared at a nightclub in Toronto in October this year, speaking on Drake's disputes with certain personalities, including Kendrick Lamar as he said the following lines:

"People you thought were friends, or people you thought were close to you, they might switch up."

In July, Marlon Wayans also replied below an Instagram video of Rick Ross being hit by a group after his show in Vancouver. The Art of Dialogue obtained a glimpse of Marlon's comment, where he said that he had known artists such as Tupac Shakur, who were shot dead a few moments after he met them.

He addressed his love for all the rappers, including Drake and Kendrick Lamar, asking them to follow the path taken by J. Cole. He requested all of them to stop getting into a feud with each other and continued:

"Walk away from the bullsh*t. With peace, with love, with positivity. Life is short… even shorter if you spend your energy on breaking each other down instead of building each other up. Hate seeing any of our kings at war."

The 52-year-old was last seen as Lou in three episodes of Bel-Air. Wayans also hosted The Daily Show last year and has two films in the upcoming lineup, including Him and Scary Movie 6.

Marlon Wayans is also popular for his appearances on comedy specials that have aired on platforms such as HBO Max, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.
