Estranged brothers and Oasis band members Liam and Noel Gallagher are expected to perform together in several cities, including London and Manchester, after a long hiatus of about 15 years. Meanwhile, fans are curious how much the legendary reunion tour will be worth for the duo.
It has been reported that Oasis had partnered with Twickets as their official ticket resale platform. UK's Independent reported that according to unverified sources, the brothers were expected to make about £50 million just from the shows, whereas additional profit could be expected from other merch. The news outlet added that the lowest ticket price for a show at London’s Wembley Stadium was about £74.25, and the most expensive ones were £506.25.
Irish promoters MCD announced that the ticket prices for the two shows at Dublin's Croke Park start at £72.75. In Manchester, the prices begin from a whopping £148.50. According to SJM Concerts, ticket prices in Principality Stadium, Cardiff, and Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, begin from £73 and £74.
The British rock band announced the pre-sale ballot for their 2025 tour on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The band has since then revealed the tour dates, including the first show, in Cardiff on July 4, 2025.
Gallagher brothers drop Oasis merch range ahead of reunion tour
As aforementioned, the two brothers had not been on good terms for over a decade now. This seemingly changed, as they decided to conduct a reunion tour - Oasis Live '25 - next year, which is expected to be quite massive.
Apart from the mentioned ticket prices at a few places where Oasis will be performing, fans can also enjoy their new merch line announced by Amazon. According to the Independent, the products would be exclusively available on Amazon's UK website.
The list of items under the merch category includes vinyl bundles and T-shirts with the band's logo. Fans can choose between two different T-shirt styles with two separate logos, which had been priced at £24.99. One can also choose to buy a deluxe 30th-anniversary edition box set of the band’s seminal debut album, Definitely Maybe, for £64.99.
The news outlet reported that the band was most likely to announce a separate anniversary special merch since 2025 also would mark their 30th anniversary.
The Guardian reported a statement by Mark Mulligan, the head of music analysis and founder at MIdiA Research, where he said,
"Superstar acts today like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift have turned tours into cultural events in their own right. Now it’s the turn of Oasis."
The Oasis reunion tour is reported to lead to a massive boost in the UK's economy since concertgoers would book hotels and shop. Massive concert promoters like SJM, will also possibly experience a huge flow of profits.
