Sean Diddy Combs, who is already behind bars on several charges of s*xual assault, s*x trafficking, and fraud has been slammed with another lawsuit by a woman who has claimed that she was s*xually assaulted by the rapper when she was 16 years old.

In the lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court on Monday, January 13, 2024, the woman stated that the incident took place in the year 2000, which makes Diddy’s age at the time of the alleged incident 31, as Famous Birthdays cited that the rapper was born in 1969.

The woman, named “Jane Doe” in the complaint, claimed that she had just got over from her babysitting job one night, when Diddy, sitting in his car with two other men, approached her for a ride. As per USA Today, Jane Doe claimed that she refused several times as she told Diddy that her parents lived nearby.

The complaint read:

"Getting into Combs' car that day was something Doe would come to regret forever. During the ride, she became scared when they did not drop her off at home as promised. Combs gave her a drink to 'calm her down.' She soon became groggy and unsteady. Combs and his staff, the two male co-defendants, proceeded to a location where she was s*xually assaulted by Combs."

Furthermore, the lawsuit also alleged that after the incident, Diddy’s driver dropped off Jane Doe in “the lobby of her building.” It is worth noting that the lawsuit comes after several complaints have already been filed against the rapper for s*x trafficking and assault, amongst other crimes.

The first case came to light in November 2023, as Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie slammed him with a multi-million dollar lawsuit. While the case reached an undisclosed agreement, after Cassie’s complaint, several women came forward and made similar allegations against the rapper.

“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason”: Details explored as Diddy’s lawyers deny the allegations

As Jane Doe filed a complaint against Diddy claiming that she was r*ped by the rapper back in 2000, Combs' legal team denied all claims and allegations. In a statement to USA Today, the rapper's lawyer said:

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never s*xually assaulted, or s*x trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court."

The USA Today also stated that Joe identified herself as an alumnus of the New York City Museum School in the complaint. She also claimed that she suffered financial losses, physical injuries, and severe emotional distress from the alleged incident. Through her lawsuit, she requested a jury trial and stated that the damages could be determined in court.

Her attorney, Michael Rubin, also claimed that Jane Doe wishes to keep her identity concealed, as he stated:

"Additionally, Doe has expressed her desire to keep her identity concealed from the public to protect her privacy and to insulate her from social stigmatization. Here, the sensitive nature of her injuries presents a proper case where the court may invoke its inherent power to preserve anonymity in order to protect Doe from the further harm that would likely result from unwanted harassment and social stigmatization."

While Diddy’s lawyers have denied the claims and allegations made by the woman, Jane Doe and her lawyers have kept silent, and have not yet reacted to the statement released by Combs’ legal team. On the other hand, the rapper is now scheduled for a court hearing in May 2025.

For the unversed, Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and continues to spend time in a prison in Brooklyn. He was denied bail for a third time, on November 27, 2024.
