Country music star Garth Brooks has been accused of s*xual assault and battery after former makeup artist, who identified herself as "Jane Roe," filed a lawsuit against him.

Disclaimer: The article has mentions of physical assault. Reader discretion is advised.

Roe accused the country singer of r*ping her on one occasion in 2019 in a Los Angeles hotel room. She was supposedly there to do makeup and hairstyling for the singer for the Grammy tribute to Sam Moore, but Brooks allegedly booked them only a one-bedroom with a single bed. Roe recalled the allegedly "painful and traumatic" s*xual assault that happened before the singer forced her to resume her styling duties so he wouldn't be late for the event.

She made several other allegations, including that Brooks allegedly groped her br**sts, exposed his genitals while she was in the room, and sent her s*xually explicit text messages. Brooks reportedly also talked about s*x openly in front of her and, at one point, suggested that she have a thr**some with him and his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, who have been married since 2005 and have a combined net worth of $400 million, per Celebrity Net Worth, were seen holding hands two days before Brooks was hit with a s*xual assault lawsuit.

The country singer shared a picture while he was holding hands with Yearwood at the Habitat for Humanity building site.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are worth $400 million

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are considered a power couple in the country music scene, and their combined $400 million fortune is a testament to that. That said, the vast majority of their riches is attributed to Garth, who was, at one point in his career, considered one of the highest-paid musicians in the industry.

Men's Journal ranked Brooks the third richest country singer, with Toby Keith (second-richest) and Dolly Parton (richest) richer than him. He's a music legend famous for his high-energy performances onstage and chart-topping hits. His songs The Dance and Friends in Low Places are only two of his most famous hits.

Moreover, much of his fortune is from his successful touring ventures and album sales. Men's Journal noted that he has 148 million albums sold, surpassing even Elvis Presley, and only The Beatles have beaten him in terms of album sales. He's also the first and only musician to earn seven separate Diamond Album Awards.

While Garth Brooks retired from performing in 2000, he came back onstage in 2014 due to popular demand. It reportedly earned him millions and subsequent sell-out tours. He remains in demand that his sold-out Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been extended to March 2025.

Adding to Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's combined fortune is their Amazon Original series Friends in Low Places: Building the Oasis. The documentary aired from March through April 2024 and gives a closer look at the couple building "the honky-tonk of their dreams in the heart of Nashville." The bar opened on March 7.

The country music power couple has also put their combined millions to good use by splashing cash on impressive real estate. Hello Magazine got an inside view of their 300-acre mega-mansion in 2023.

Their sprawling estate is in Goodlettsville, Tennesse, with the mansion, known as the Blue Rose Estate," built on the $432, 500 land that Garth bought in 1990.

It's a 5,551-square-foot home with 13 rooms, seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and several luxury amenities like a swimming pool and a spa.
