“R. I. P. My big cuzn joe cool.”

While Snoop Dogg’s post has now been filled in with comments from the masses sharing their condolences, the rapper has not yet specified when and how Darryl “Joe Cool” Daniel passed away.
Snoop Dogg’s cousin Darryl “Joe Cool” Daniel worked with ADIDAS, 7-11, and Supreme Clothing
Joe Cool’s passing away has left Snoop Dogg, and many others in the industry saddened, as the artist passed away due to unknown causes. Best known for his work with Snoop, Joe Cool not only drew the Doggystyle cover picture but also worked on Snoop's albums and singles which were released at the very start of his career.
As per Joe Cool’s website, he worked with many brands like ADIDAS, 7-11, and Supreme Clothing, among others. The website states:
“Joe Cool also travels the world touring with Snoop Dogg. He has performed onstage in over 30 countries and 48 states as "The Nasty Dogg" as well as dozens of broadcast television shows and events.”
However, the cover for the Young, Wild & Free artist was the turning point of his life. Complex reported in an article published on July 23, 2024, that Joe was a drug addict back in the 1990s, and was encouraged by Snoop to get clean as he commissioned him to draw the Doggystyle cover.
Darryl “Joe Cool” Daniel spoke about the same to HipHopDX in 2013 and said:
"I didn’t think it would be iconic, man. And then when it sold as many as it sold... I can’t believe it. My artwork is out there, ’cause Snoop let it come. He gave me the opportunity, man."
He continued:
"He got me a little bit of 15 minutes of fame up in the world. It’s been 20 years, man. He gave me that opportunity. Man I love him for it."
As the popular and talented artist passed away, social media users are now commenting on the Drop it Like it’s Hot singer’s post, remembering Daniel’s work. The family is yet to announce the details of his death, funeral, and memorial services.
