Kodak Black expressed his frustration with Adam22 during the No Jumper podcast on July 8, 2024, after being questioned about his drug use. For those uninitiated, the musician has openly used illegal substances numerous times in public and faced court charges for drug possession in South Florida.

During the podcast, Adam22 delved into the topic of substance usage without hesitation. The internet personality asked Kodak Black what it was like to perform in concerts while high on drugs and how often he uses substances.

Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill K. Kapri, appeared uncomfortable with the question, claiming that he could not remember the times he had been high. He tried to change the topic of discussion repeatedly, but Adam22 persisted, saying:

"Usually, if you get loaded, it’ll last a good two hours, right?"

The Too Many Years singer then told the podcast host:

"That sh*t was so long ago, I can’t even walk you back to that sh*t. I ain’t come up here for you to be playing detective… I ain’t trying to exploit your… I ain’t even come up here and talked about your wife ‘cuz I don’t know, I don’t know you."

Adam22 then attempted to make a joke to diffuse the situation.

Kodak Black’s history with drugs explored as No Jumper interview clip goes viral

Plantation Police arrested Kodak Black in December after he was found asleep by a vehicle’s wheel with white powder around his mouth. After testing, it was discovered that he had consumed cocaine.

Further investigation showed he had taken oxycodone, which Kapri was prescribed in July 2022. His case was dismissed by Broward County Circuit Judge Barbara Duffy, who cited that he could not be prosecuted as he had a prescription for oxycodone. She also claimed that there was not enough evidence to prosecute the rapper.

Speaking about the incident, he said in an Instagram Live in December that he was simply “asleep in front of my family house, bro. That’s it. That ain’t illegal.”

In 2022, Kodak Black was arrested on drug trafficking charges after being found in possession of oxycodone without a prescription. He was ordered into drug rehab for 30 days as well.

The singer has expressed his desire to get off drugs. He claimed in 2022 that he was spending $350,000 on rehab to improve for his children. Kodak Black said in an Instagram Live:

"I’m working on myself. I’m working right now, homie… I’ve done went to rehab by myself… Just me wanting to better myself."

Recently, the rapper announced that he will no longer perform his hit track Super Gremlin in concerts as he is almost sober. This comes after Kodak expressed regret over the song’s lyrics, in which he claims that he knowingly swallowed fake Percocet when he knew it could have killed him.
