Snoop Dogg (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.) has responded to rapper Dave Blunts' comments after the latter called Snoop out over his past remarks. Snoop Dogg is well known for posting humorous content on social media while Dave Blunts has gone viral for his raps that talk about the shenanigans of his small town, Davenport, Iowa.

On November 9, Snoop shared a video of Dave Blunts' performing his song The Cup, where he can be seen singing the lyrics 'I can't put down the cup.' The video took off on the internet and quickly went viral. The rapper captioned it, writing:

"We’ll put down the chicken wings and Tata chips Nefew and that chair gone break soon get to the end of the cup."

Blunts responded to Snoop's comments during his performance on Juice WRLD Day in Chicago. The Annual event honors the life and achievements of rapper Juice WRLD, who passed away in 2019. During his gig, Dave Blunts asked:

"Hey Chicago, do you all have a problem with me sitting down on a stage?"

When the audience said 'no' in unison, he addressed Snoop, saying:

"Exactly. So, get the f**k off my d**k, Snoop Dogg."

Blunt commented again, saying:

"I see the big dog talking. Snoop, you think you funny? You don’t know what it’s like to fight for your life every damn day."
"I got demons, and a tank to prove it. Don’t come for me when you have been blessed enough to be here that long; respect the struggle," he concluded, addressing the oxygen tank next to him.

Snoop Dogg has recently responded to Dave Blunts' comments at Juice WRLD Day. After watching the clip of Blunts slamming him, Snoop said:

“That was funny, go head lil homie, I mean big homie… I ain't f*cking with you... I apologize to this n****, he's still going off on me.”

On November 8, Snoop Dogg and his wife, Shante Broadus were declared winners of the Black Love Award at Femme It Forward's 3rd annual Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala.

The gala took place at Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and celebrated the advents of black women in music, including juggernauts like Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Jill Scott, and many others.

Hosted by rapper Saweetie, who herself won an award, the Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala was a landmark event that brought together titans of the industry who shared tidbits of their own journey and struggles. Other recipients included artists like Lady London, Doechii, and GloRilla, who touched crowds with their inspiring words.

Snoop Dogg's acceptance speech detailed the importance of love and companionship. The rapper acknowledged the tumultuous times every couple may face in a relationship and the importance of facing it together. After Shante joined Snoop on stage, the rapper said:

"This is beautiful because throughout my career I’ve been nominated and won a lot of awards, but there’s nothing like an award that brings you back home to the stage to let people know that this is the reason why you are so successful."

Talking about his Grammy nominations, the rapper added:

"I’ve been nominated for 20 Grammys and never won one, but this right here, this feels better than one."

Alongside his social media ventures, Snoop Dogg is set to create waves in the music industry with his upcoming collaboration with Dr. Dre. The two have come together to create the much-anticipated album called Missionary, which is set to be released on December 13.

It will mark the first collaboration between the two titans of hip-hop since Doggystyle.
