Cardi B responded to fans when many showed concern about her safety after the rapper was spotted walking alone in New York City.
In a viral clip on X, Cardi was spotted without security, in the streets of NYC, in a black dress in the morning. After fans flooded her mentions with concerns about her safety, the rapper took to X and wrote in a now-unavailable post:
"My house got 24/7 security…I’m very spontaneous and I like my privacy …Sometimes I want to go to the deli or make a quick target run …I’m not waiting around till security come ….ALSO I ALWAYS ALWAYS GOT SOMETHING ON ME !"
She further added:
“Love y’all but please stop talking to me like this I hate being babied. I do this lol.”
Cardi B also responded to a fan asking why she was walking without security in the NYC. She wrote:
“It was like 9am and I was hungry …..also nobody finna touch me."
In response to some other fans, Cardi further asked them to not "irritate her" as she only went out to get a bacon and cheese. The rapper said she would get off X for a while as her fans were getting on her nerves. All her posts have been deleted since then.
Meanwhile, Cardi is yet to release her second studio album, after 2018's Invasion of Privacy. The rapper has been teasing her sophomore project for a while but no dates for its release has been announced.
When Cardi B recalled incident that almost caused her a miscarriage
At the beginning of this month, Cardi B announced that she's expecting her third child with her estranged husband, Offset. The couple also revealed that they are legally separating on the same day.
Speaking about her pregnancy, the rapper shared a "freaky accident" that almost led to a miscarriage of her third baby, earlier this month, with her fans on X Spaces. She said:
"I had a fu*king freak accident. That's how I have to explain it because I don't know how something -- well, it wasn't little, I actually heard it."
Cardi B detailed on the accident, revealing that it was unusual but severe. It left her immobilized for a while. The rapper claimed that her temporary paralysis could also potentially harm her unborn child. She added:
"And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come, but it didn't."
The singer also shared details about how she dealt with the aftermath of the accident. The rapper revealed she did not feel good for hours despite waking up. She said:
"Yesterday I was feeling good cause I came home, but I came home high as a kite. Today I woke up sober, honey. I'm dying. Like, I'm dying. I swear to God. If I don't feel good in four hours, I'm going to the hospital, and I don't give a fu*k."
Cardi B added that she would like to have more morphine, a medicinal drug used as a painkiller. She wondered if this is the reason everyone gets addicted to drugs.
"Morphine me down. I don't give a damn! This is probably why bi--hes be getting addicted to drugs and sh*t," Cardi added.
As per Page Six, Cardi B has not shared any further details about her recovery process and her accident.
