Flavor Flav came up with a hilarious response after prankster Gerald Huston mistook him for fellow rapper Boosie Badazz. According to HipHopDX, Huston spotted Flav in public and recorded the moment, which he further posted on Instagram as well. Huston ran to the 65-year-old rapper and said:

"Oh my God, that was you. Lil Boosie, bro."

Flavor Flav, who was in his Team USA Olympic tracksuit, gave a witty reply, saying:

"Everybody say that. But that’s my guy, you know what I’m saying? I am his daddy. You want me to be yours too?"

When Gerald Huston first approached Flav while addressing him as Boosie, the rapper seemed quite confused. However, he played along for quite some time, even when he was being referred to as his fellow rapper. Shortly after that, the prankster seemed to have realized that he had mistaken him for Boosie.

Netizens were also amused by Flavor Flav's reaction, with many commenting on the video, praising his sense of humor even at 65.

Rapper Flavor Flav had been quite active during the summer Olympics

Flavor Flav recently made headlines after it was revealed that he sponsored the US women's water polo team that participated in the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Earlier this month, the rapper told NPR:

"When the women aren't in the water playing water polo and everything, they're home, working active jobs—one, two and three jobs."

He further praised the women for working so hard to perform their best in the Olympics and thus decided to step in to offer them some extra help. Flav had further extended support to track and field athlete Veronica Fraley, by offering her financial aid when she revealed having a hard time paying the rent.

According to Complex, Fraley wrote:

"I compete in the Olympic Games TOMORROW and can’t even pay my rent. my school only sent about 75 percent of my rent while they pay football players (who haven’t won anything) enough to buy new cars and houses."

This prompted Flavor Flav to send her the needed money for the rent. Alex Ohanian, the internet entrepreneur, as well as Serena William's spouse, also decided to chip in and sent about $7,760 to Fraley, as reported by Complex.

Recently, Flavor Flav also shared a tweet where he talked about getting a bronze clock necklace for American gymnast Jordan Chiles after she had to give back her medal. In the tweet uploaded on August 11, he wrote:

"Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan ,,, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that’s something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!"

This prompted Jordan's mother to respond and express her gratitude to Flavor Flav for her kind gesture. Coming back to his sponsorship deal with the US water polo team, the agreement listed his association with the team for five years. As reported by The Guardian, he said:

"As a girl dad and supporter of all women’s sports - imma personally sponsor you my girl, whatever you need. And imma sponsor the whole team."

Flav reportedly wanted the sport's visibility to be more prominent across the US.
