Benzino and Tia Kemp recently got into a dispute after Coi Leray had shared a statement on social media on January 22, 2025, alleging that her partner Trippie Redd was cheating on her. Benzino is the father of Coi Leray and both of them are active in the music industry. Benzino apologized to Leray for everything that he had said to her.

The problem emerged after Kemp started criticizing Redd on Friday, January 24, after Leray's Instagram story went viral. According to HotNewHipHop, Kemp eventually targeted Benzino at one point, addressing his conversation on the podcast We In Miami in the past, where he said that he was not interested in meeting any of Leray's boyfriends.

Tia Kemp then claimed that Benzino, also known as Raymond Scott, was possibly not speaking about his sexual orientation. Scott responded to the same in a video obtained by The Shade Room on January 26, saying that if he was gay, he would have been proud of it.

However, Benzino additionally advised Kemp to forget everything that had happened between them and added:

"I don't got no problem with you, and as far as my daughter, this is a great moment for her. So, I don't want this to overshadow that. I can't wait to be a grandfather, and I can't wait to see her as a mother."

Scott's words referred to the news of Coi Leray expecting her first child with Trippie Redd. Leray announced the same through Instagram on January 1 this year, with a lineup of photos, including a few where she was flaunting her baby bump.

Apart from responding to Tia Kemp's allegations about his sexual orientation in the latest video, Benzino also said that Kemp needed to calm down and that he believed how she needed someone in her life. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star also mentioned:

"You kind of getting up there in age too, and I just feel like you had a man to really love you and care for you, then maybe all this built up anger on the internet would stop. At least, calm down. I know you try to be in character or whatever but I can see that there's a lot of hurt in you and I've been there."
