6ix9ine, also known as Daniel Hernandez, has recently been in the headlines due to his involvement in legal issues. Notably, two of his luxurious cars were acquired by the IRS for auction a few days ago. Amid these events, he has chosen to maintain a distance from social media.

While fans have been worried for him for a long time, the rapper took to his Instagram page on July 12 to share a video update. He said that he had been to Romania and added:

"I want to apologize to all of my fans for being very disconnected with you guys. But I've got some great news. I just released a dummy coin. I'll put the link right here."

The 59-second clip also featured 6ix9ine saying that the first 2,000 people who would purchase the coin would be chosen for a "meet and greet" in Romania. He mentioned that similar sessions will be organized in other places, such as Slovakia and Germany, with dates to be announced soon.

While the video has received more than 200,000 reactions until now, Daniel has closed the comments section for his followers, and the reason for this remains unknown. The caption reads:

"Link in my Bio & Story. Hello Romania @renardopalmer_."

6ix9ine's cars were displayed at an auction to pay his compensation to an assault victim

As mentioned, Daniel's legal cases have created a lot of trouble for him. This includes an assault incident that happened in 2021 at a club. The artist injured a stripper named Alexis Aalaberrios at the time with a champagne bottle, and he was hit with an aggravated battery lawsuit.

The court found him guilty and ordered him to pay a $10 million judgment to Alexis. However, Alexis later claimed that she did not receive the money. As a part of recovering the money from 6ix9ine, the IRS seized his cars in April this year and put them up for auction.

The auction process began on July 8, 2024, at a price of $20,000, and it will continue until July 23. On the other hand, Hernandez was not present at home when the cars were taken away from his residence.

In January of this year, Daniel was arrested in the Dominican Republic on charges of domestic violence. While an investigation was launched at the time, the Associated Press reported that the verdict would be given by the court if he would remain in prison or be released on bond.

6ix9ine was eventually released under certain conditions and was ordered to pay $510 as a deposit. The other conditions included government counseling and meeting the authorities every two months until they investigated the accusations of assault brought up by his girlfriend and rapper Yailin.

The 28-year-old has released four albums, with his latest project, Blackballed, coming out on January 12, 2024. He is also known for popular singles such as Gooba, Zaza, Shaka Laka, and more.
