NBA YoungBoy's crew was shopping at Walmart a few weeks ago when they got pranked by YouTuber DeVaughn Lucas, also known as XvsWrld, in a Spider-Man costume. While some of them thought it was hilarious, YoungBoy's brother NBA Ken didn't seem impressed. He was on call when the prank took place and didn't appear to like it when he was interrupted. He addressed Lucas and said:
"My n**ga stop playing with me, b*tch. Like real sh*t. I’ll blow you down in that costume. I’m not playing with you, b*tch. Stop talking to me bruh."
He allegedly then pulled out a gun, which prompted Lucas to reveal that it was a prank to diffuse the situation. However, is it important to note that while the gun was not visible on screen, the subtitles of the video read, "*pulls gun out*."
More about NBA YoungBoy's brother NBA Ken's reaction to being pranked at Walmart
The video of YouTuber XvsWrld's prank has garnered 3,550 views as of this writing. In the clip, he was seen interacting with the staff at the store and speaking to customers as well. He attempted to humorously scare shoppers and also spoke to children while in his Spider-Man costume.
However, his prank at Walmart took a turn when he approached NBA YoungBoy's crew. Ken didn't seem to respond well to the joke and the YouTuber continued to speak about his Spidey senses. YoungBoy's brother then reportedly pulled out a gun and when the YouTuber tried to tell him that it was a prank, he said:
"I know it’s a prank, n**ga. I see the camera, my n**ga. I told you I’m on the phone."
In the description of the YouTube video, the creator identified the individual who allegedly pulled out a gun as YoungBoy's brother.
"Hey Guys, In This Video I Dressed As Spider-Man And Trolled The Public. I Had To Suit Up To Save Walmart! My Spider Senses Were Tingling! I Also Got Pressed By NBA Youngboy’s Little Brother 'NBA Ken' And Close Friend 'NBA Dump'," it read.
XvsWrld also shared a clip of the interaction on Instagram and captioned his post:
"The Whole YB Family Bullied Spider-Man."
It is important to note that NBA Youngboy was not seen in the video, and this may be linked to his legal woes.
NBA YoungBoy was arrested earlier this year
In April 2024, NBA YoungBoy was arrested in Utah for allegedly possessing firearms. Variety reported that the rapper was facing six charges including possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and for a pattern of unlawful activity.
In May 2024, new charges were filed against Kentrell Gaulden, also known as NBA YoungBoy, in connection to a prescription fraud operation. Cache County Authorities had earlier charged the rapper with 63 counts, as per KUTV, and these charges included identity fraud, obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, and forgery.
According to the publication, Deputy Weber County Attorney, Clark Harms shed light on the case and said:
"Finally, defendant is charged with a felony and there is substantial evidence to support the charge and clear and convincing evidence that he violated several material conditions of his federal pre-trail release."
This wasn't, however, the first time he was arrested. In 2020, he was arrested while making a music video and was placed under house arrest. Later, the conditions of house arrest were made more lenient by a federal judge so that he could access mental health treatments.
