A few hackers recently took control of Doja Cat’s account and dissed Iggy Azalea on Monday, July 8, 2024. As Iggy posted an advertisement from her X account, the hackers from Doja’s account commented below her post, asking her to “shut up.” They also added a status from Doja Cat’s account, saying:
"F**k that stupid b**ch IGGY AZALEA and buy $DOJA."
While the tweet left many astonished, they soon realized that it was the work of a hacker. Iggy also realized the same and took to X to post a message for the hackers:
She tweeted a follow-up post and said:
"Hackers on celeb girl accounts again making it about me cause I’m their fixation but they didn’t consider the fact that I may actually interact w ppl in real life and it’s not fitting into reality lol. Get rugged if yall want but I’m cool w that girl irl so yall f**ked up w that tweet hackers.”
As an unknown hacker took full control of Doja Cat’s X account, they posted several inappropriate statuses, which the singer later removed.
“My Twitter's been hacked”— Doja Cat addresses her hacked account
As soon as Iggy’s post caught the attention of the hackers, they were prompt enough to respond to her post. They added another comment from Doja Cat’s official handle and said:
"You forgot to @ me boo."
However, Doja was able to fix the problem quickly. She wrote a message for the masses stating how her account had been hacked. The message posted on her Instagram story read:
"My Twitter's been hacked these messages are not from me.”
This is not the first time a rapper's account has been hacked. At the end of June 2024, rapper 50 Cent’s account also got hacked. At the time, the hacker used his account to promote and see the Meme token GUNIT and defrauded many of his followers.
The activity resulted in a fraud of $3 million, as the hacker earned big bucks promoting the same. 50 Cent later addressed the situation and said:
"My Twitter and Thisis50.com were hacked. I have no association with this crypto. Twitter worked quickly to lock my account back down. Whoever did this made $3,000,000 in 30 minutes.”
Meanwhile, as many noticed how the hacker wanted to start a beef between Doja Cat and Iggy Azalea, people started requesting collaborations between the two in the comments section. Many others were also left concerned and demanded stricter cyber laws due to the rise of hacking nowadays.
