"I never got robbed, I never got touched" — Clip of 'disrespectful' rapper YBC Dul boasting a day before his death goes viral

Young Bag Chasers affiliate YBC Dul was fatally shot in Olney, Philadelphia, on Friday, August 23, in the 5500 block of N. 6th Street. The rapper was just 25 years old at the time of his passing. Now, a clip of him claiming to have never been robbed or touched has gone viral, as the singer made the statement just days before his death.

On August 22, 2024, YouTuber Brandon Buckingham shared an interview with YBC Dul, also known as Mr. Disrespectful. In the video titled The Most Hated Rapper in Philadelphia | Life as Mr. Disrespectful - Ybcdul, the rapper claimed he always felt safe despite the ongoing gang wars in the city.

Just days before his passing, YBC Dul said:

“Anywhere I go, nobody don’t play with me. I never got robbed, I never got touched, shot at in the city, yet.”

The interview has since gone viral, with many discussing his statement online. Many found the interview eerie considering that YBC Dul, whose real name is Abdul Vicks, recently died. A few reactions read:

“Ain’t karma a b**ch,” an X user said.
“You just inviting people to test you,” another platform user said.
“Knock wood mother f**ker. You done jinxed you self,” another netizen stated.

No suspects involved in the shooting case were caught at the time of writing this article. Meanwhile, other reactions to the singer’s interview moment read:

“Even he knew it was coming tho,” an X user commented.
“The power of the tongue… he manifested his demise,” another internet user said.
“Pride goes before the fall,” a netizen stated.

Law enforcement confirmed with 6ABC Philadelphia that the rapper was shot multiple times in the chest and his hand. Meanwhile, other comments online read:

“That didn’t age well,” an X user said.
“He saw it coming just wasn’t sure,” a netizen commented.

Interview clip of YBC Dul dissing rivals in No Jumper interview months before his passing goes viral

Just three months ago, YBC Dul appeared on the No Jumper Podcast to discuss multiple topics, including the viral video of him digging up the grave of a person who belonged to the rival gang, what it means to him to be called Mr Disrespectful, and more. At one point in the interview, Abdul named numerous singers and gang members he did not like.

“I ain’t even gonna lie though… I got some s**t to say too though… f**k CCK, f**k LMG, f**k 56 Street, f**k 38 Street, f**k the Dub too… f**k Park Side… I can’t even remember. F**k all of the ni*gas though, f**k 7 Street”

Meanwhile, a graphic video of the rapper getting shot has been circulating online. In the same, he can be seen riding a bicycle and being ambushed by a group of shooters.

Followers now await more information from the investigation into his death.
