In a recent Instagram Live, rapper Cardi B shared how she found out about being pregnant with her third child. The rapper announced the birth of her baby girl with her estranged husband, Offset, weeks after their split via Instagram on September 12.
In an Instagram Live dated September 25, Cardi explained to her fans how she found out about her third pregnancy.
"I woke up one morning and my mouth tasted like copper. So I was like oh my gosh! This only happens to me when I am pregnant. I automatically knew that I was pregnant."
The rapper explained that she had only had s*x on Valentine's Day in 2024 and assumed she was six to seven weeks pregnant. However, Cardi realized she had been pregnant for much longer (around 17 weeks) when she consulted her trusted OBGYN. Cardi B recalled having a "nasty night" on New Year's Eve last year and said:

"I had a real nasty night, like nasty night. Like back to back type of sh*t, you know what I am saying? So I was like maybe that's why I did not keep positive when I did the tests for my surgery because I probably got pregnant on New Years and then I went to get my surgery. But then I saw the sonogram and there was a whole baby. I got real real emotional right away."
Cardi then recalled how she asked her OBGYN the gender of the baby and got to know she was pregnant with a baby girl. She revealed that she became more emotional when she heard it was a girl, as she loves "raising girls."
The rapper shared that she's delighted with the birth of her third child, describing her as a "little bean" and the "cutest." Cardi added that she has felt a splurge of energy since her child's arrival.
Cardi B's estranged husband, Offset, accused her of cheating while being pregnant
On Cardi B's Instagram Live on September 25, her separated husband, Offset, took to the comments to accuse her of cheating during her pregnancy. The rapper wrote:
“U f**ked with a baby inside tell the truth!!"
Cardi B filed for divorce with Offset in August 2024, shortly after announcing that she was pregnant with their third child. Despite the separation, the couple welcomed their baby girl in September 2024. The duo also share two more children, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3.
After Offset's comment on her Instagram Live, Cardi took to X to presumably respond to his comments, as she wrote:
“AND DID!!!!!!”
Fans have been speculating that the rapper wrote the tweet in response to Offset's allegations, although Cardi did not explain the same. However, during her Instagram Live session, Cardi B said she "regrets" Offset, although she's thankful for her three children with the rapper.
"But f**k you, I regret you. I'm too good for you. I've always been too good for you. Since you wanna f**king threaten me, talking about you wanna take my sh*t, you wanna take my sh*t because I’m moving on? Move on. Move on. Why can’t you move on?,” she said, adding, “It’s no fun when Mama’s got the gun, right? Now we’re going to court war, right?”
Cardi B and Offset's relationship reportedly began in 2017, and the couple secretly got married in the same year. Cardi previously once filed for divorce with her husband in 2020 but got back together weeks later. The rapper filed for divorce once again in August 2024 after announcing that they're expecting their third child together.
