Rihanna recently hinted at her 2024 Met Gala ensemble and talked about her regret over her previous wardrobe choices. During the launch of Fenty X Puma's most recent collection, Rihanna revealed to Vogue her favorite Met Gala ensemble as well as what she plans to wear during the upcoming Met Gala.

Ahead of "fashion's biggest night out," on April 20, the Umbrella singer dropped hints about what her fans can expect from her at the 2024 Met Gala in an interview published by the fashion magazine.

Rihanna announced that she would be stepping back from her wild side and adopting a more subdued character in order to concentrate on the enduring beauty found in the natural world. When asked whether she regretted anything that she wore on the red carpet, she said:

“I’ve done so much sh** in my life. I’ve had my ni**les out, my panties out.”

She further said,

“But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mum and an evolved young lady – emphasis on young – there are things I feel like I would never do. Like: ‘Oh my God, I really did that? N*ps out’?”

In a recent interview with Vogue, published on April 20, Rihanna hinted at the details of her 2024 Met Gala look. The event will take place on the first Monday in May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

She also talked about her prior outfits that she had worn to the event during that same conversation. She did, however, make it apparent that she did not like those. She went on to say that she regrets some of those fashion choices.

When Vogue representative Daniel Rodgers asked her about past fashion choices that she regretted, Rihanna replied that it was something like the outfit she was in for the Fenty launch event.

“Oh my God, it was something similar to this, which is kind of ironic.”

She continued:

“It was a brown tan suit that we all loved so much, but the day we put it on I was like, ‘Mmm, it’s giving UPS driver,’ and that is not cute. Not for the red carpet anyways.”

Rihanna went on to say that she believed that now that she is a mother and "an evolved young lady," she will never wear those outfits that expose too much skin. She then continued discussing this year’s Met Gala outfit.

“I’m gonna wear Fenty something! Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Savage…”

The 36-year-old multi-hyphenate also discussed the outfit she is pleased with. She said that one of her favorite fashion achievements is the Guo Pei gown she wore to the 2015 Met Gala.

“Nobody will ever forget that and I will never forget the feeling of discovering that designer based off of the design challenge that Anna gave me.”

Moreover, the pop artist talked about the same topic with PEOPLE magazine in an interview published on April 19. The mother of two revealed that, unlike in the past, exposing too much skin is one of her current "fashion icks."

PEOPLE magazine reported that the Grammy winner had a number of memorable skin-baring outfits. One such instance was the renowned custom Adam Selman design, which consisted of an amazing fishnet dress, gloves, and headgear that were individually decorated with more than 216,000 Swarovski crystals.

The Diamonds singer turned heads on the red carpet last year when she arrived late with A$AP Rocky, wearing a lavish white Valentino gown that accentuated her baby bump.

This year, on May 6, the mother of two will wear an outfit that will celebrate the launch of the new spring show, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, and aim to guide the outfits of the attendees' in a natural manner.
